2 Sun Breathing Demon Slayers

(Shinra POV)
Tsugikuni-san, come sit here, Kagaya-sama asked as he pointed to the floor. I stood up and joined him, he sat down and faced my direction with the twins sitting on his side. We were facing each other.

"Ubuyashiki-sama I wou-"

"Just call me kagaya. It would be a lot easier" he said with a smile.

"Unfortunately I can not, I have been told to show the Ubuyashiki family with respect and.........."

Shinra got down on all four and bowed his head to the ground.

"To offer our deepest apology to you, the Hashiras and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps on behalf of my family."

This shocked the Hashiras and Tanjiro as they don't know why he's apologising for.

"I accept your apology but that was all in the past, what happened centuries ago is long gone and forgotten." He reached over and touched the back of my head

I lifted my head as he smiled at me.

"Oyakata-sama, please tell us why this man is apologising for," Sanemi asked

Oyakata looked at Shinra. "This man before us is the descendant of the very first demon slayer as he created the first breathing technique, Sun breathing"

Everyone was shocked and no one could utter a single word.

"Sun breathing is a legendary and forgotten breathing style and the first one to ever be created. All other breathings are derived from it."

"He is..or was the legendary Demon Slayer in the Sengoku Era. His name is Yoriichi Tsugikuni. He and the very first Flame, Water, Stone, Thunder and Wind Hashiras lead the Demon Corps on the front lines and they were winning."

"But..."

"But then something happened that made them kick him out of the Demon Slayer Corps" I continued.

"The only thing I know is that he crossed paths with Muzan Kibutsuji. And nearly killed him, before he got away and for that reason, he was kicked out. But personally, I think something else happened and I just don't know it yet." I faced the Hashiras and bowed my head.

"It is because Muzan got away that this endless fight continued. And I know you must have lost many of your loved ones. I'm sorry on behalf of my great grandfather."

"No one blames you or your ancestor Shinra-kun" Kanae finally spoke up as the other hashiras were too hesitant to reply.

"Things happen and there's nothing you can do about it, all you have to do is keep moving forward. Maybe it is fate that brought you here so that you can finish off what your grandfather couldn't do centuries ago." Kanae spoke with much belief and trust.

"Arigato Kanae-chan" we both looked at each other and admired one another.

"Ahem" Shinobu grabbed their attention. And everyone except Tanjiro looked at them like this ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Gomen'nasai" Kanae looked straight at the ground trying to cover her embarrassed flustered face.

"She has her way with words" I admitted.

"Yes not only are her talents remarkable, but she is also one of the smartest around. Don't you think?" Oyakata-sama said as he praised the Flower Hashira.

"Yes, she is remarkable as I saw her face off with an Upper moon. As well as defending the people behind her, she deserves the title Hashira."

Kanae kept her head down as she was hiding her embarrassment from the praises she was receiving.
