The aftermath of Lisas death (9 weeks after)
--
The hooded figure walked over to the brick wall and jumped over it. She didn't take the gate, it was to noisy.

Looking at the different grave stones, she wondered if she'll end up here. Sitting in the dirt, in a wooden box. She knew no one cared for her. At least not anymore. She rubbed her eyes and kept walking.

It was dark, foggy even. It smelled like it just had rained. The chirping of crickets and the croaks of frogs were somewhat calming. She stopped when she found a familiar name.

"Lisa. ???? - ????. Cause of death: Unknown causes."

The figure sat down in front of the grave, touching the grass that layed in front of the concrete slab.

"So.." she started. "I guess I'll catch you up."

"It's been awhile I know. And I'm sorry I wasn't there for your last birthday. I really am."

She twirled her fingers in the grass.

"The person I have become now.. I'm pretty sure you would be disappointed. The past battles have been rough. And my head can't handle much more of this. I might run away. Run away from this hell."

She brought her hands up to her hood and pulled it down. Her long brown hair fell down to her lower back. She cupped her head in her hands.

"I have no idea what happened in between now and then. It's all a blur."

She didn't realize that tears were falling down her face. She looked at the grave, sobbing.

"I'm so sorry Lisa. I'm so sorry. I didn't live up to your expectations. Please... Forgive me."

She heard footsteps. She looked back and saw someone walking towards her. She leaped and hid behind a tree. She wiped her tears to get a better view.

The person walked over to the grave, and squated down. Putting what looked liked purple roses down. She peeked her head out to see the persons features. The person has long blond hair, and had a child with her.

"Master Jean? What is this?"

Her eyes widen to hear yet another familiar name.

"Well Klee, this is what happens when a person goes to sleep forever. We put them underground so they can stay comfortable forever."

"Does she have pillows and a blanket?"

Jean chuckled. "Yes. Yes they do."

"What about the stuffed animal I gave her?"

"Don't worry klee. Mr bear is down there."

She wanted to call out her name, but knowing what she had done in the past, Jean would never forgive her.

She started too walk away.

Snap!

Her heart dropped. The snapping of a twig set off Jean.

"Who's there?! Show yourself!"

Jean pulled out her sword, holding it in front of her.

The hooded figure started too run. Jean saw her and started to run after her. She ran into the woods.

"Get back here! What are you doing on private property?!"

"So I could visit my dead friend! I'm sure you would understand!"

Jean didn't realize that Klee was following her. They ran into the woods, pretty far.  The hooded figure tripped and fell on a pile of leaves. There was a groan from the said pile of leaves.

'ahhh Fuck. My ankle hurts like a bitch.'

"I've got you now! What's your name?!"

The hooded figure turned her head around and put her hands up.

-Jeans pov-

I froze. I couldn't move, speak, or do anything really.

I could hear the clank of my sword.

"Surprise, Surprise! Now I know you must hate me and stuff but-"

I cut her off when I embraced her in my arms.

"Oh my fucking god I missed you."

-3rd pov-

Jean shoved her head into Amber's neck, almost cuddling it. Her hand slid up and rustled in the chocolate brown hair. Klee grabbes Amber's hand and said,
"You're back!"
Amber stood still, shocked by the reactions from her old acquaintances. Jean kissed Amber's neck lightly and hugged her tighter. Amber finally hugged back and tears started to pour out. She did it. She was back. She could go home. She could escape this hell hole. The fatui, the abyss..

Were no longer in her life.

Jean let go of Amber, asking questions and leaving even more unanswered.  Amber held Jeans hand while she rambled about what has happened while Amber was gone. Klee hung on tightly onto Amber's leg, like a spike ball to a piece of fabric. They stood there for hours, feeling the cool moonlight touch their skin was relaxing.  After Jean was done talking, Amber kissed her hand and started to walk off to the gate, with hand in hand.

This, was the first time Amber had smiled since the incident.
