"You look really pretty with that green gown, princess. The prince will be really lucky to marry you."
"Yes. He is indeed lucky to be my king" The wannabe queen said with a small smile.

The maid helped the princess get ready. The princess only stared at the mirror which showed a pretty girl with eyes green like emeralds, hair black like darkness, skin that shone like the moon. An incredibly beautiful girl who was going to get married.

"The wedding is going to start soon. I let you have sometime alone, princess."
"Thank you, Maria."
"My pleasure, princess." Maria bowed and left the room.

The princess heard a little knock on the door some minutes later. She assumed it must be the king.

"Come in."

The door was opened and there stood no one other than the greatest king of 'Malious the green kingdom'. The kingdom was called green because of its beautiful green nature. No other kingdom had such healthy and soothing nature.

The princess just stared at the elder who wore a green crown which was decorated with emeralds. The crown reminds her of the queen who loved emeralds and name her one and only daughter 'Emerald'.

The king sighed. " I wish your mom was here. It's been so hard without her. And now you are leaving me too."
"Dad I might be leaving you behind, but I will always be by your side from far away. You can call me whenever you want. I will come to you running." The princess stood and hugged the king. The king also took his beloved daughter in his embrace.

After the sudden death of the queen the king did his best to keep his daughter in his warm embrace and never let go. He taught his daughter how to use sword. He held her by his side in order to teach her about the cruel side of the world. The princess was taught about various poisons and had to drink them to get used to them. So if someone poisoned the princess it will be harmless to her. All day and all night the princess had to suffer from the amount of poison she had take. Cuts and bruises were all over her body because of the fighting she had to do daily.

The king never told his precious daughter why the queen died and she never asked about it too because she already knew. The day at the funeral the princess heard some maid talking about the death of the queen. She heard something that was never meant to be for her ear. The princess couldn't take the reason of the queen's death, so from that day the princess vowed to herself that she will fulfil her mother's dream or else she will hang herself on the tree in front of her mother's grave.

"Let's go now. Your fiancé must be impatient to marry you." The king said with a small smile.
"Yes. let's go." Said the princess laughingly"
"I will miss you my daughter."
"I will miss you too."

The princess wore her green veil and her crown. She linked her arm with the king's and took a deep breath. The door of the church was opened and all eyes were on her. She lowered her head and walked down the aisle with her father. When she reached at the end she looked up at the pair of blue eyes that was eager to see her from the morning. The king took his daughter's hand and led them to the prince's hand.

"She is my only daughter and only family. Please, take a good care of her"
"I will make sure she will be just fine. I won't let you down, my king."
"Thank you. I have faith in you."
The Prince replied with a small nod before taking the princess's hand and leading her in front of the priest.

"Shall we began the ceremony gentlemen."
"You shall."
"I will take your love to give me hope, give me joy, and make me a better man. I promise to listen, to hear, and to always consider your feelings and thoughts as we travel together on this journey. I vow to love, honor, and cherish you, forsaking all others, as a faithful husband as long as we both shall live." The priest said and the prince repeated.

"I vow to hold your hand in my hand, to hold your head in my hands, and to hold your heart in mine. I love you and you are my husband for all time. I pledge to be your ever faithful, honest, and loving wife. With the words we are about to speak, let us be joined forever in holy matrimony." The princess repeated after the priest.
The princess's head was lowered during the vows.

"Do you George Fredrick take Fellious Emerald as your lawfully wedded wife?" The princess looked up to meet the prince's mesmerising blue eyes.
"Yes. I do." Said the prince with a handsome smile.
"Do you Fellious Emerald take George Fredrick as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Yes I do." The princess said with a small genuine smile.
"You may kiss the bride."
The bride and the groom shared a small sweet kiss.

The prince was extremely happy to marry his lover. But, he didn't know their 2 years relationship was just a trap. The vow his wife made was fake. He never thought tonight will be the last night for him and his life will come to an dead end. Tonight was the last time he will see light with his beautiful blue eyes.
