It was another day in Mondstadt, the sun's rays started hitting the land of freedom. Slowly, it turned into day. People were starting to go out and start their day, as usual. But there was something strange. Something... sinister.

At Dragonspine, Albedo — the chief alchemist of the knights — was experimenting on pink paint and a few chemicals. The blowing wind outside the laboratory was quiet and calm, snow slowly went down to the ground.

The traveler observed the alchemist as he experimented on strange things. "And maybe if we add in dandelion wine, it'll cause a chemical reaction to make a person disappear. But this is only a theory." Albedo stated. "Traveler."

Lumine turned around to Albedo, waiting for him to speak. Lumine was currently using the alchemy table to create condensed resin and some other materials. "Are you perhaps acquainted with anyone willing to test this dandelion wine experiment?" Albedo asked. Paimon sighed. "Paimon thinks that no one would trust you and your experiments..."

"Oh? And why is that?" Albedo asked. "They're very dangerous!" Paimon squealed. "Is that not obvious?" Lumine started thinking for a second. Who would possibly agree to this experiment about dandelion wine? Then the thought popped into her mind.

"Venti." Lumine said. "That bard in Mondstadt?" Albedo asked. "Hm... I don't see why not." Paimon widened her eyes. "But!-" "Tell him to come over. I shall conduct this experiment once he has arrived. Make haste, please." Albedo said. "But!-" Paimon said, Lumine nodded and dragged Paimon.

In Mondstadt, Venti was singing one of his ballads to Y/N. "Oh Venti, please do sing somewhere else. I'm on my shift-" Y/N said. But Venti interrupted. "Uhuh." Venti declined. "My beautiful ballads are best heard at this time."

"Yes, I am aware but..." Y/N said. "Lumine?" She said as she pointed to the girl approaching. "Venti, would you like some dandelion wine?" Lumine asked. Venti's eyes shined. Ah, yes. Dandelion wine. One of Mondstadt's finest. "Of course! Why would I decline a great offer?" Venti said.

"Wine again?! Oh, why can't you stop that addiction of yours...?" Y/N face palmed. "Well, take him. I guess... I still have to work and this bard keeps pestering me." Venti pouted to Y/N's words. "I'm sorry..." Venti said.

"No. I didn't mean to make you sad." Y/N said. Venti continued walking off with Lumine and Paimon.

A few hours later, it turned night. The lights lit the city, giving a warm evening to the citizens. Y/N waited at the gate of Mondstadt, wondering when Venti will be back. Walking back and forth frantically, bitting her nails anxiously, she soon stopped and stomped her foot. "Where the hell is that bard?! Did that alchemist do something horrible to him?!" She asked herself.

Y/N squatted down to the ground. She blinked and saw someone approaching. "Venti?" Y/N muttered. She stood up and started running towards them. But something was strange... "Venti!-" Y/N exclaimed. But then she stopped approaching him.

"What... what happened?! Why is Venti on heels and- what is this horrible choice of clothing?! And this... pink toenails?!" Y/N exclaimed. "What did you do to him?! Where the hell is that alchemist?! I'm going to beat the shit out of him."

Paimon stopped Y/N by blocking her way. "Don't worry, he just got too much wine... And Albedo dressed up Venti since they were both drunk." Lumine sighed. "Shouldn't have trusted him..." Y/N crossed her arms. "Damn right you shouldn't have! That alchemist is strange as hell!"

"It isn't our fault!! He promised the Traveler something bountiful!" Paimon exclaimed. "Tch, whatever. Let's get him home-"

"I'm a Barbie giRl! IN thE BarbiE world~" Venti sang. "W...what the hell is Barbie?!" Y/N exclaimed. "Oh my god... Oh Barbatos..." Venti put his hands on his hips and chuckled. "Barbie? I'M bArbietOes!"

"B- Barbie what?!" Y/N exclaimed. "I'm taking this drunk bard home-" Y/N grabbed Venti's arm but he pushed away. "I am not drunk!" Venti said. "Whatever." Y/N rolled her eyes.
