internet friends(a Park Jisung fanfic)

"So Jisung, what are your plans today?" Dream's Manager asked the youngest who was lounging on the couch.

"Exactly what I'm doing right now." Jisung responded, his arm laying over his eyes.

Might get drunk He thought to himself.

"Come on, you're the only one at the dorms, everyone else are out with family or friends." The manager insisted on... something, honestly neither have a clue on why they're continuing the conversation.

"I have no friends and my family is busy.' Jisung responded in a monotone voice.

The manager got quiet, they sighed before leaving the boy alone.

He laid there in silence before removing his arm from his eyes, might as well stalk his fans.

He had a personal account like the other members. That way he disguised himself as an NCTzen and interacted with the fans this way, they'll never know it's him.

He came across a post of one of his fansites of himself he followed, don't ask. He got curious since the video wasn't of him but of two girls, one korean which he knows was the owner of the account who was in an airport running towards a girl who looked Hawaiian if he had to guess by the skin tone. When the girls made it to each other, they hugged like their lives depended on it... they even fell on the floor but still didn't let go of each other. Then the video ended. He went to read the caption of the post.

I know this is a Jisung fansite but I wanted to share this precious moment with you all. After only speaking online for 5 years, I finally get to meet Kailani in person❤

He smiled and decided to comment something.

This is so sweet! Friendships like that are the best!

He watched the video one more time before continuing his stalking. He got a notifications from the owner of that account of replied to him.

--> You're not wrong, but Kailani is my girlfriend.

Jisung jolted in his seat and chocked on the breath he inhaled. He clicked reply and his fingers have never typed so fast.

--> Oh! I'm so sorry for misunderstanding! You two make an adorable, hope all the best!

--> No worries, I maybe should've specified in the post... Besides I understand, Korea is still a little iffy with same sex relationships tho I'm happy you're supportive! Thank you!

Jisung sighed in relief, but knowing that the two girls were in a happy relationship warmed his heart.

Long distance relationships must be hard but seeing people pull the odds off and fight for each other always puts him in a mushy mood.

His mind started to wander, he started to imagine himself in those scenarios... meeting someone online, building a friendship with them... turning into a relationship.

His fantasy was quickly snapped by the door opening. He turned his head and saw Mark walk in.

Jisung furrowed his eyebrows, he didn't expect him to be back so soon.

"Hyung? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"SuperM recording got cut short, producer's wife went into labor so we were let off. Manager told me you were here by yourself so I decided to hang with you. Now boot up the Nintendo switch, we're playing Mario Kart." Mark responded hanging his coat up.

After winning 10 - 0 to Mark, they decided to call it a night. Everyone was already home, a few continued playing on the switch while others went to do their own thing.

Jisung is one of them, he went to his room and booted up Genshin Impact on his PC.

He was busy gathering supplies to make food when someone suddenly entered his world. Thinking they were just here to fish, he ignored him. Until they started talking in chat.

They had Kaeya in their pfp and they went by Ray.

Ray

Hi!

They spoke english.

Jisung

Hi(in korean)

Jisung wasn't worried about using his real name for his gaming accounts since "Jisung" is so common in South Korea.

Ray

Oh you do speak korean, I was just making sure.

Jisung sighed of relief, Ray also spoke korean. He didn't wanna bother Mark since the older was still bitter about losing badly.

Ray

Come here! I wanna show you something!

Jisung

Okay???

He opened his map the see that Ray was somewhere in Liyue so he teleported to him.

Ray(who was using Sucrose) jumped when he showed up.

Jisung was using Albedo, which made him chuckle.

Ray typed in chat again.

Ray

Ready? Watch!

Jisung did as told and then he saw lanterns spawn in front of them and float up into the sky.

His mouth hung open slightly at the sight. It was beautiful, he couldn't help but take pictures/screenshots of it.

Jisung

Woah!!

Ray

Pretty right?

Jisung

This is the best thing in the game, hands down!

Ray

Haha!!

Soon the lantern show ended.

Ray

Alright, that's all I wanted to show you! I'll leave your world now!

Jisung gasped and before he knew what he was doing, his fingers started typing on their own.

Jisung

Wait! Please don't leave!

Ray

You want me to stay? People usually don't want that...

Jisung

I have trouble making friends...

Jisung

Of course, we don't have to be friends if you don't to!!

Ray
