A soldier in an impossible war,
Battle after battle being lost
Strength diminishing
Blow after blow
On a path of self destruction
Breaking down, giving up, head held down
Hearing your voice, in the back of my mind
"Always keep fighting"
I pick myself up off the ground
Joint the future will shine brighter
Taking one day at a time,
Sometimes, hour by house
Trying to make this war seem winnable
Always keep fighting
