Angel's POV
"So what are you guys gonna need to take care of this kid?" Four asked, everyone's initial shock finally wearing off.
"Four, it takes a lot to take care of a child...that's how we are somehow still alive" Will looked at the trainer next to him, obviously not realising he had just shown his Erudite colours.
"Uh yeah we're gonna be doing a lot of shopping and decorating over the next nine months" I laughed lightly, Peter squeezed my sides. He hadn't let go of me since the news, obviously just as excited as his hand kept going towards my stomach.
"We gonna make the spare room a baby room now" He smiled.
"Well if you guys want help, it's safe to say you have a lot of helping hands." Tris smiled, her hand in Four's larger one.
"Oh yeah don't worry we were gonna use that to our full advantage when the time came anyway." I laughed.
"Sure you did Angel," Chris said.
"It's true" I took Peter's hands off my body, his face contorted into a 'what the hell?' look.
"I'm literally going to the bathroom, cause I'm assuming the reason most of them showed up was for food and the fact we were going shopping anyways" He nodded at me as the rest of the group laughed at my correct statement.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright Will, as you were initially a Erudite- please tell us what we need exactly so we can by it before the next 9 months are over" I said to him as we walked towards where the shops of the dauntless faction was.
"Well it would be clothes, nappies and formula as the most important things. Then you find out the gender around 6-7 weeks and base your baby room with a theme for blue., pink or whatever." He spoke up as we kept walking around the shops.
"how did you know all about this?" Christina chirped in.
"I was in Erudite. literally they made us read EVERYthing before the age of... I think it was 12" The whole group looked at him, stunned at how his old faction worked.
"So in Candor we definitely didn't do that. It was mostly training to make sure we knew who was lying or telling the truth. You know 'Thank you for your Candor' got told to us when we had the simulations." I spoke us for myself, Peter and Christina.
"Nope that's way weirder than just knowing the information for pregnancy... and before you ask, there was no teen pregnancies due to what we were taught" He smiled slightly.
"Was it that intense?" Tris said from behind us.
"Uh huh, reason why I ended up here. I was not smart enough to continue in Erudite. Was better off here, unfortunate for parents." I felt for his parents as he calm from a good family, something I envied growing up.
"Well definitly the smartest here" Peter said. We finally ended up in the shops, especially the one for babies.
"Alright girls, you ready to get some baby things?" Christina and Tris pushed forward with me in tow. Waving at the boys who were left there a little shocked. Whether it was because I was willing to shop, or the new tattoo on my hip.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ok so Will said to get clothes first. They're all going to be in black aren't they." I started searching for the clothes section.
"Obviously, its Dauntless Angel" Christina said. Also finding the clothes section.
"Oh my god, This is so fucking adorable. " I stood shocked, all the clothes from white to black.
"It's beautiful, I want to stay here" Tris said, admiring the selections.
"Oh my god, this is cute" I pulled a baby onesie which said "Welcome to Dauntless".
"Peter is gonna laugh if you use this as the kid's first onesie" I put the hanger on my hand and continued to look.
"How about I'm fearless? its a trait of the faction." Tris pulled one up to show me.
"It's perfect. I think we should grab like two more and then I think we nappies and formula. We don't know the gender for a while." I said. the two other girls nodded.
We walked out of the store after checking out all the clothes, nappies and formula. I knew I also will need to start getting larger clothes as I get further along, which unfortunatly meant no longer being able to wear my tight clothes.
"I dont think you need to adjest your clothes just yet Angel, you aren't even showing yet" Christina said.
"Christina your Candor is showing" I laughed and then the two other girls started laughing with me.
"Hey girls! Get anything interesting?"Uriah popped up with all the boys we'd originally arrived with.
"Boys, did you tell him?" I gave them all a look, squint eyed and ready to kill them if I needed to.
"Nope he just came to see us and when we said we were going back to see you, he wanted to join in" Will covered for both Peter, him and Four.
"Wait, tell me what?" Uriah asked.
"Uh well I may be pregnant right now. DO. NOT. TELL. ANYONE." I looked at him once I also told him off.
"Well that was pretty clear Angel. Does anyone but us know?" I looked at the girls.
"Tori knows. Told me it would be fine being a leader with a baby. That we'd have a lot of babysitters." I spoke up.
"When did you talk to her?" Four asked me.
"Uh the last time we went to the tattoo and hair dressers" I looked again at the girls. "She figured it out really easy, because apparently I looked different to her"
"It was so funny, like I was there for a tattoo, not to be exposed" I rubbed the bottom face before putting my hand back down.
"Well now we know who knows, shall we get lunch?" Uriah suggested. I nodded my headed just as I mentioned we need to get this stuff back to Peter and I's apartment.
