There's a place in town ,where the well runs dry, and we can't look down we can only cry.
The wind speaks softly like a ghost.
And the plants all die, they wither like smoke
And every night only death brings us hope. Every night this is how we cope.
Because in the darkness creatures prowl
Just to tear us apart
With razor sharp teeth
And here we are ,back at the start
Where every night only death, the end, gives us hope.
That well runs dry
And we're caked in blood
Asking ourselves
Where is joy?
Where is love?
Where are things we thought would never leave? The things we hold close, like our dignity.
We try to look down, but
We can't go down
We can't go down
Cuz this is the lowest place around
To be trapped
Trapped
TRaPpeD
Drowning in solid rock
With no life left
Because we're already dead
No falling left to do
Because we're already dead
Will the man in black take us away?
Take us away from this desperate place!
A crowd of white faces gather 'round the man. Trembling hands reach for him. Chanting
Take us we pray. Take us away.
We rattle our chains
And grab for him
And through the crowd whisper in his ear
Take us away
TAKE US AWAY
Before we do
Because we do
We always do
When
Death is our only hope
But we died long, long ago

Hey friend,
I am still unsure why I am posting this hugely personal poem. Don't worry, I am not depressed, but I have been in some dark places that few people know about. However, there are some things I want you to take away from this:
1. Living IS worth doing although it can be tough at times.
2. People all around us are in this hopeless place ,and while you can't change much, there is still always a way to help.
3. It is nobody's fault when people reach this place. Never blame yourself or anyone else when things like this happen.
4. On a less life lesson note,
Comment and vote maybe???
