\\\\\\ Hello everyone, before i start this is my first work in english (which is not my main language) so please go easy on me if you find some errors, also i'm not the most consistent person so the chapter might come out in different time spans. With that being said, buckle up and welcome to the madness that is my brain\\\\\\

The first ray of sun had made its way down to the bottom of the reef and Shinsou was the first one to wake up; he was too excited to stay in the hide for much longer. It was a special day for him, he could finally go to the surface and see what the world looked like outside of the water.

He went for a quick snack before heading up, as soon as he entered the kitchen his dad's voice brought him back to reality "You're up early, aren't you?" Aizawa was already there. He knew his son like his own palm and was expecting him to try and sneak out as soon as possible. "You know we need to have a talk before you go so don't try and be that sneaky" he smiled and hugged his son. In that moment Hizashi made his way into the kitchen, still half asleep, " 'morning Shouta, 'morning Hitoshi" he said as he dropped down on the table falling asleep again. Aizawa cleared his throat waking up his husband again, he then started talking to Shinsou "Listen, I know you're excited to see the world, but I want you to be careful. The world is not a safe place and, for the love of the gods, stay away from humans, they're vile creatures and they only look for ways of making money even if it's someone else who will have to pay that price. Trust me, I have my reasons to say this" he concluded and Shinsou noticed some anger in his gaze, probably caused by an old memory he didn't want to bring up. "I'll be careful, dad. Don't worry" he hugged his dads and started swimming to the surface.

He started imagining how the world would be, if the sand would feel the same it feels down there, how the sky would look like and, before he realized, he had reached the surface. He stopped, his heart was beating so fast that he could feel it thundering in his throat; that was what he always dreamt about and, now, it was becoming reality. He took a deep breath and put his head outside of the water; suddenly he could feel the breeze of the ocean moving his hair, the smell of the salt filling his nose as he breathed air for the first time, he could feel the warmth of the sun on his face; that didn't look at all like the world his dads warned him about, it was more like a magic place to explore. He looked around and decided to hop on a nearby rock that was almost completely out of the water, he was not ready to dry out and get a pair of legs, it was way too soon in his opinion.

He settled and started looking at the sky. The clouds reminded him of sea sponges, he could see them chase each other just like the small fishes used to do; a seagull flied upon him, screeching. The world was so beautiful he felt like he could've stayed there for hours; little did he know everything he knew was going to change.

"Attention to the shoal!" the captain yelled, the crew ran in different direction, everyone doing their job to not get the ship stuck in the shallow waters. The captain turned to his helmsman "The king is waiting for us and you manage to bring us to the wrong island!? Do I have to throw you off board?" before the captain rage could make him do something he could regret the lookout started yelling: "Siren! There's a siren on port!". The captain smirked, "maybe you did something right" said to the helmsman, he, then, turned to the crew: "Get ready for the capture! We'll make our king very happy. Now move you rancid sardines!". The ship moved slowly, getting closer by the minute, the crew was silent as to not be noticed by the siren. The nets were ready, muscles in tension and everyone was ready to attack; the captain raised hi arm ready to signal the attack. It all happened at the same time, the captain arm dropped down giving the signal, the crew threw the nets and Shinsou didn't have time to realize what was going on; before he even knew he was being pulled on the ship, already moving away from his home and his family. They dropped him on deck and the captain took some steps to get closer to him, he got grabbed by his hair so the captain could take a closer look at his face "Good job mates" the captain said, "Now take it with the rest of the treasure", he then turned to Shinsou "You better not fight back you monster" he said before spitting on him.

He was brought to a room filled with gold and jewels and got thrown into what looked like to be a class coffin filled with water; he tried to get out while the lid was being closed but all he got was a punch in his stomach that made him fall back in the water. Once the door of that damn room closed he felt guilty for not being careful enough and not listening to his dad's advice now the only certain things he knew were that he had been captured and was headed to some place filled with other humans who didn't care about him.
