We lay together on his bed I could faintly smell his cologne on the bedspread as we lay sprawled out with our legs intertwined. He gazed into my eyes as I shyly looked down. I still wasn't used to his intense stare that made my heart race. He placed his fingertips gently on my chin and slowly brought my eyes back to his. His dark blue eyes melted into mine and I looked down unable to stand how perfect he looked. "Look at me," he whispered. I glanced up for a second then looked down again smiling while biting my lip. He slowly leaned into me kissing me softly his lips were so soft and plump and perfect.
Our kiss was soon interrupted by the rumbling of the garage door beneath us. I pulled away to see his face, his eyes searched mine full of fear. I hated to see him so scared of his dad but there is nothing that I could do. I ran my fingers through his messy golden brown hair on the back of his head attempting to comfort him. When I saw no change in his expression I leaned in to kiss him feeling desperate now. "Isaac, you know your going to have to tell him sometime. Putting it off for longer will just make him more mad, you know that." he nodded knowing I was right. "Now look at me," His eyes darted up to mine "You'll be OK, right?" the words sounded more unsure then I planned. He nodded, biting his lower lip. I weakly smiled as I sat up untangling myself from him.
*Isaac's point of view*
I watched her stroll around my bed going over to where her bag and shoes were. I didn't want her to leave I had told her about my dads anger problems but since we have been together I haven't done anything that has sent my dad over the edge. I lived with my dad, my mom died when I was 12 and my older brother ran away last year and hasn't been seen since.. not that I blame him. But ever since he left instead of beating us both my dad has been taking all of his anger out on me. My thoughts were soon interrupted by Sophia pushing back my messy hair I didn't even notice she had walked up to me "Are you ok?" "Yeah," I said getting up to walk her out.
When we got down the stairs I could immediatly smell the strong alcohol smell coming off of my dad. I walked Sophia to the door and she looked up at me with a frightened look in her eyes. "Its going to be alright," I said as I smiled at her. Her eyes fluttered close as I leaned in to kiss her my hands sliding down her back into her jean pockets. "Isaac?" My dad grunted."Coming," I yelled back. Sophia opened the door and walked out to her car turning around to give me one last smile.
