Chapter 3

One excruciatingly painful hour of paperwork later, Raven, Lexi and Diego knocked on her door.

"Ruby!" Lexi walked across the room and sat on Ruby's lap, wrapping her arms around her and laying her face on Ruby's shoulder.

Ruby wrapped an arm around her, still typing away.

"Give me one second you guys, I just have to..." She submitted her final file for the night. "Done!"

"Took you long enough." Her best friend got up and practically yeeted her out of the chair, causing her to almost drop her laptop. "Let's go get drinks! I want to meet a hot stranger and get my brains fucked out." She said, a little too loudly, causing the old man in the other room to shoot them a glare before he got up and closed the door.

Lexi stuck her tongue out at the door.

"It seems like you've already had some drinks, haven't you Rossi?" Said Raven.

"Yeah drinking your mom's-" Ruby slapped her hand over her mouth.

Lexi licked her hand, and Ruby hit the back of her head, causing Diego and Raven to start laughing like idiots.

"Carry me Ruby I'm too tired to walk." She said.

"Get Diego to do it." Ruby said.

"But then he'll get a boner and then we'll have sex again and I just made a very strict no screwing the people I work with." She said.

Diego rolled his eyes and pulled her over and picked her up, wrapping her around him.

"Diego? Is that you simping?" Ruby asked.

"See!" Lexi said. "What did I tell you?"

"I don't see anything Rossi." Raven laughed.

"That's because it's tiny." She said, holding up her pointer and her thumb an inch away.

"Shut up both of you." Diego grumbled, as they got in the car.

Ruby drove them over to Sam's Bar, their favorite place to get drunk and scream karaoke. Off tune karaoke. But whatever. It was fun. Ruby never actually drank, seeing as she was underage and Raven was technically her boss. He made a no drinking rule for her after she puked on the front lawn of her apartment building, while he was carrying her up there half unconsious.

 She also woke up with a dick sharpied on her face, probably because some of the puke hit him on it's way to the lawn. 

Only a little bit though.

Ruby rolled the window down as she turned the radio up, singing along with, Raven and Diego.

She pulled into the parking lot after narrowly missing a curb, which earned a smack on the head from Raven and Lexi's maniacal  cackle when she hit him back.

"Let's go have fun."

Griffin's pov"

"Hey wassup man?" A short, stout man, about Griffin's age gave him a wave from over at the bench press.

"Hey. I'm just here to work out. Would you take an extra person?" Griffin asked.

"Sure dude. Hoping to get ahead?" He looked Griffin up and down, sizing him up.

"Hoping to catch up." Griffin replied, sliding under the bar and lifting it.

"Oh, is that why we haven't seen you around?"

Griffin did his reps, racking the weight carefully.
