It was a normal Sunday
morning and I was getting ready to go. I left my phone on my dresser not knowing what was going to happen. I pulled my hair up altogether into a side ponytail and sprayed on some perfume. I skip down the hall to where my "boyfriend" was. He stood there wearing his casual hoodie, pants, and headphone. I grabbed his hand and brought myself towards his chest."Let's go, we don't wanna be late," he said. I let him go and quickly slipped on my shoe.
I answered back excitedly, "Okay, okay. I can't wait to see where you're going to take me today!"
A while after we left the house, it started pouring out of nowhere. We quickly ran into an alley near a department store.
"Sh*t! Why on a day like this?!" my "boyfriend" yelled.
"Calm down! It's ok we could go out any day anyways. Let's just go somewhere a bit more dry," I persuaded. But he wouldn't move from his spot. I pull him. Suddenly he grabs my wrists and ties me up with a rope.
I tried to scream out for help, "What are you doing?! Let me go! Aren't you supposed to treat me like a girlfriend?! SOMEONE HE-" Then something hard like a pipe tube, struck me in the head and I fell onto the concrete.
I open my eyes and see someone in front of me, holding a whip, or so it seemed, yelling at my "boyfriend". My vision wasn't so clear, but I was able to tell that that person was trying to protect me. I try to talk but the hit I received earlier still kept me dizzy and I just--knocked out.
When I wake up, I notice myself staring at a ceiling. I look over to my right and see a shadow behind a curtain.
"Who is it?! Come out of the curtains!" I panicked. Then a women with a clipboard came in.
"Oh thank goodness you're awake! Are you okay? It seems like you got hit in the head with something really hard, so you are now in a hospital, dear. Your parents will be coming soon. I'm nurse Rie, if you need anything please don't hesitate to call me," she said with a smile smacked onto her face. I then remembered about the incident.
"Excuse me, Nurse Rie, who reported me to the hospital?" I asked a bit confused. She went out and came back in with a boy.
"It was this young man," she smiled.
He was a slim-looking boy who looked a bit weak. His hair was a silky dark brown, which fell down on half his face. His eyes were a great ocean blue which really stood out. His clothing were as casual as my "boyfriend's". Speaking of which, where was he? And what was up with him back at that time? I look back up at the boy, "Thank you for saving me. I really appreciate it, but what happened to the other guy that was with me? What happened to him?"
He looked out the window. His eyes seemed distant. Then he spoke, "The guy who attacked you... he... I... He was sent to the police, for crime."
My eyes grew wide. "What?! Why?! How?! He... he... No!! He couldn't have! He's not someone who would commit a crime!" I cried. Although, what he did to me at the time was very suspicious... I didn't want to think about it. Tears strolled down my face. And I walked up to the boy and grabbed his hoodie.
"Ummm--I'm sorry, I don't know why. Please...please calm down," he said very flustered.
I let go of his hoodie and sat back down on the bed. I wiped my tears away with my sleeve and thought to myself... "Huhh...my boyfriend is going to jail."
