"Steer, steer this way, come on!!" The captain yelled at the man piloting the ship as the storm cascaded on. Just as the ship nearly overturned, a man jumped at the captain, tackling him to the ground. His red coat gleamed despite the fog encircling their surroundings, against the captain's golden. The man straddled the captain, lifting his sword in the air with both hands, only for the captain to take advantage of the unbalancing to push the man in red off, proceeding to get back up to his feet as he unsheathed his sword with a grin.

"Somehow, I knew it. I knew you were the traitor" The captain yelled as the two men began circling each other, a smirk on his face in contrast with the other man's stern expression. The man in red charged at the other, only for him to dodge and swung his blade down onto him, which he, fortunately, defended using his sword. Just then, the ship swerved, causing the man in red to stumble and lose his balance. The captain took that as an opportunity to slash at his thigh, before running his blade through his back, causing the other end to poke out of his stomach. The horrid expression painted on his face was something the captain had waited so long to see. Centuries. But how was it that.. now that it was actually before him, he felt frozen, he felt confused?

Hoseok's eyes shot open as he took a sharp inhale, realizing he was simply dreaming. He sat up, wiping the sweat off his forehead. Only once he caught his breath did he notice his blaring alarm. Proceeding to shut it off, he outstretched his body once upon his feet, before readying up for his morning classes, rather excited to wear his outfit of choice.

The same old day. Being ignored, studying, constantly checking up on the clock, going unnoticed, afternoon classes, yada yada.

By the time he left his campus, it was already 5:44 pm, and he was drained, wanting nothing more than to crash into bed. However as he looked down at his feet, and his red coat, he remembered. A smile instantly took over his face as he took a turn along the street with the dead end, and there he was the puppet. Hoseok's scarf is still around his neck. His smile only widened as he made his way towards the bend, sitting criss-crossed.

"Hey there.. friend~ Today was.. well the same. But I must be honest, it's nice having a companion, I was excited to come here. See? We match, red and red~ Say how about your day, how was it? The same too? Standing here, going unnoticed perhaps? I wonder what your name would be~ Oh- there's an emblem on your coat. Hmm... Se- Seo.. Seok.. ehhh the rest seems to have faded away. How unfortunate- wait, Seok! Aren't we alike~? My name is Hoseok! Hehe, it's like Seok squared, or 2Seok, yes 2Seok!! It's funny how the littlest of things can make people smile, it's relaxing actually", he spoke with a cheeky smile. "You know, I want to be a doctor! I want to help people, I hate seeing those in need suffer, however, I believe I can change that! Hmm, I wonder if you would have dreams if you were alive.. let's see something", Hoseok stood up, making his way before the puppet, tilting his head as he gave him a close look. "Hmm, considering how pirates don't exist here anymore, maybe you'd make a good businessman~ I won't lie, with those dashing looks you'd be making deals here and there with big companies and all, ahh~ What am I rambling on about?" He chuckled. His laughter eased down to a smile as he carefully his features. He almost had a surprised expression. Hmm, I wonder who put you here. He was about to reach his hands to brush a few locks of hair out of the puppet's face, only to feel a sudden pain in his stomach. He hunched over a tad, holding his stomach as he pouted, realizing it was probably the possibly spoiled milk he had this morning. It said it expires today- I didn't think they meant morning time!

"Ehh- ah I'll be back tomorrow alright? I must head home for now! It's getting quite dark.. do take care!" He yelled, walking off with a bright smile and a wave. As the distance between the puppet and him grew, he felt an odd form of loneliness. One he hadn't ever felt before, and while it confused him, he simply disregarded the feeling, after all, he had much more to worry about, as the stomach ache was turning into immense nausea.

The moment he reached his house, he dashed to the restroom, practically throwing up all he had eaten today. Once he felt like moving, he cleaned up, deciding to push the shower for tomorrow morning as the feverish feeling he was left with had him simply wanting a good night's rest. Still, he couldn't get one thing off his mind even as he slipped into a deep slumber: the puppet's face, up close. Why was it so entrancing? And should he continue meeting it? After all, it is but a puppet, isn't it delusional to make it a friend? But somehow the thought of not returning only had his stomach further churning.
