Haruo Suzuki was a blonde, rather short boy. He couldn't get his hair straight in the mornings, couldn't swim, couldn't ride a bike. Haruo Suzuki was nothing. Yet here he was. Performing in-front of a crowd of hundreds, no, thousands. The strumming of his guitar ripped against his skin, it was hard to bear. He was constantly on edge, wandering if and when his voice would break mid-song. He was nothing special. He just played good music. Nothing Else Matters.

"Haruo!"
He woke up slowly.
'7am?'
He knew his new school was fairly far away, but even so, this was a little too early
for Haruo."Haruo?!"
"Yep. I know."
He climbed out of bed, almost falling with drowsiness. He'd go over to his drawer, getting himself dressed into a fairly casual outfit. He walked over to his mirror, revealing a 5'3, blonde, scruffy-haired teenager. He gave his hair a little ruffle, messing it up a little more. Once he was ready to leave, he packed his guitar into a case before jogging over to his door.
"Hurry up!"
He opened the door. Before him stood a 5'10, short haired boy in a tank top.
"You're wearing that on your first day?" Haruo asked him.
A tank top and jogging bottoms, this guy really didn't care how he looked did he. They stood looking at each other for a while, before the boy made a move.
"Have you met me? I don't wear anything other than this." He responded nonchalantly.
The boy walked towards Haruo before hugging him, violently patting his back.
"It's good to see you, Haru."
"You too, Makoto." He responded, sighing.
They hadn't seen each other all holiday. Makoto lives even further away from the school than Haruo did, and he passed Haruo's house on the way.
"I guess I'll eat there. They'll allow that, right?" Haruo hadn't eaten this morning, he had, as you know, just woken up.
"No fucking clue!" He smiled innocently at Haruo. He did this often, taking the piss.
Haruo brushed past Makoto as he left his house, into the garden. It was a nice garden, a nice pathway leading to a nice gate surrounded by nice trees. It was nice, a pretty simple house. Haruo wasn't rich, wasn't poor, he was just a normal kid, nothing special. All he did was play music, and Nothing Else Matters.
