Hiro Hamada slowly stirred in his sleep, twisting and turning as his 'never' ending dream played in his head. The images of flames and smoke made him want to cover his eyes in the dream world, but he couldn't move. He watched as his older brother run into the flames. He couldn't stop him. He couldn't yell his name. He couldn't even move or blink for that matter. Hell, he felt like he wasn't even breathing.

"Hiro," Hiro heard a low voice echo through out his ears. He couldn't awake from his dream though. Even when he felt someone's hand on his shoulder, trying to wake him up. It was like the Dream World wanted him to stay there and watch this hell over and over and over again. "Hiro, wake up!" He shot up, face drenched in sweat-or maybe in tears- and he felt extremely hot.

Hiro turned to face his savior who had brought him back to reality. Which was, for now, better then his dream. "Tadashi," he breathed, noticing his handsome brother.

"Are you okay?" Tadashi asked, concerned about his younger brother. He watched as Hiro looked down at his legs, breathing heavily. Tadashi had awoken when he heard heavy breathing and hearing constant blankets scratching against someone's legs. And he knew right away it was Hiro(I mean who else could it be? Hiro and he shared did room.)

Hiro usually had nightmares. He never said what they were. Or at least a small hint. Tadashi, of course like a big brother would, always asked if he wanted to talk about it. But Hiro would always say the same exact thing.

"Just a nightmare. It's not that important, Tadashi." Is what he would say to him. He never truly spoke about his inner feelings. Which bothered Tadashi. He wanted Hiro to speak about his emotions, because he knew if he kept it bottled for that long, then his emotions would take over and he-

Tadashi shook his head. He didn't have time to think of the bad. "Hiro, are you going to tell me or not?" He asked again, deciding to push his buttons; until he got an answer from him. Hiro shook his head, sighing. But his inner emotions was begging to let out, and Hiro couldn't stop them anymore.

"T-Tadashi.."

"I'm here."

"Don't ever leave me..." Hiro looked into his brothers eyes. The sun was starting to peak through the city's buildings and the birds began to chirp in the early light. Tadashi was taken back at this, but he smiled gently and pulled Hiro into hug.

With this gentle and loving embrace, Hiro hugged him back, letting his salty tears flow down his cheeks as he sobbed. "Y-you gotta p-promise me T-Tadashi." Hiro was able to say through sobs. Tadashi chuckled.

"Making promises at the age of 14 still?" This made Hiro chuckle a bit. "I promise, Hiro." He promised, pulling back from Hiro to wipe away his brothers salty tears. Tadashi smiled at Hiro when he stopped his cries.

"Thank you..." Hiro whispered, feeling suddenly tired. But, he didn't want to sleep. Not again. He knew he'd have a nightmare again. He usually had nightmares, so he used to it. But, this has been going on for a month now.

Every. Single. Night.

The nightmares never seemed to end. And in all honesty, he was afraid to close his eyes and let his mind go. Even though he did know it was unhealthy to stay awake for a long period of time, he didn't care.

Everyone, so far his Aunt Cass and Tadashi, could tell it was getting worse. The bags under Hiro's eyes singled out that he has not been sleeping. And his constant work on his Microbot Fighting Robot was another sign that he was distracting himself from sleep. And in the middle of the night Hiro would sneak down stairs and grab a vairty of snacks. Which, Aunt Cass would notice since her Chocolate Chip Cookies would dissapear quicker than usual.

Hiro looked up at his brother when he stood up, about to leave his bed side. Hiro quickly grabbed his hand before he left, surprising Tadashi a bit. Tadashi looked back Hiro, a knot forming in his eyebrows. "What's wrong?"

"Can you sleep with me?"

"You becoming to sound like your 5 again, little brother." Tadashi teased, trying to lighten the mood for the both of them. Hiro rolled his eyes, but moved aside so his older brother could lay beside him. Which Tadashi did, pulling Hiro close to his chest.

Hiro could smell the delightful smell of cinnamon and vanilla, which he enjoyed. He'd die to smell this scent every second. He placed his curled up fist onto Tadashi's chest, since he had no room to put them elsewhere. He felt his hip being held by Tadashis firm hand and arm.

And though Hiro said he wouldn't fall asleep, he slowly did, eyes drifting close and mind sliping into Dream Mode.
