beep- beep- beep- beep.....
I sat straight up in bed."Ugh, what's that noise?!" I yelled grumpily. Did I mention I'm not a morning person? "Its
the alarm clock, doing its job and waking us up so we won't be late." Stacy said while
getting up out of bed. "Late for what? It's a Sunday" I groaned. "For church! Now get up
before were late!" Stacy yelled. "Five more minutes mom." Jessica said from on top of her
bunk. Stacy sighed and grabbed her pillow and walked up the ladder. "First of all I'm NOT
your mom, none of us have one. That's why where here. Second of all, it's time to get up!"
Stacy yelled. She took the pillow and hit it on Jessica's head. "Owwww!! What was that
for?!" Jessica yelled. "Get up! Am I the only one that remembers we have church today?!"
Stacy exclaimed. Jessica sighed and got out of bed. Stacy grabbed some clothes out of the
dresser and ran to the bathroom. A few minutes later she came out dressed in a beautiful
white laced dress, and her hair was put up into a bun. She had on light lipgloss and eye
shadow. Jessica ran in and did the same thing as Stacy, although she came out wearing a
white top that was tucked into her black skirt. She had on eye liner and mascara, but no
lipgloss. Her hair was in a side braid. I walked in and held up my light yellow dress.
Yellow was my mothers favorite color. She bought it for me on one of her trips down town.
It had a cute white skirt underneath the top. I put on light lip gloss and combed out my
hair and put it in a pony tail. I walked out and smiled once I saw the girls all ready to go.
"Wow, you look..... Wow." Stacy said. "Me? Look at you. You look amazing. And I love
your necklace too." I told her. "Thanks. The necklace was a present from my mom when I
was a little baby. She had put it on me when I was born and I am
still wearing it. " She said as she looks at it. It was half a heart. It said "Stacy" on the front.
Stacy turned it over and read out loud. "To my baby girl. I will always love you. " She
read. I watched as a smile creeped upon her face. We got interrupted when Jake walked
in. "Hey, it's time to go. And wow, you girls look,... Amazing!" He said. Stacy giggled and
Jessica thanked him. I blushed and he saw. He chuckled and stood by me. Jessica and
Stacy smirked. "Are you blushing?" He asked smirking. I looked down at the ground.
"C'mon guys! We're going to be late!" Mrs Kendra yelled. We walked out the door. Jake
grabbed my hand and gave it a soft squeeze. I looked at him. "Hey, it's ok. I was just
joking. No need to get all embarrassed. " He said in a comforting voice. I nodded my head.
He kept held of my hand until we reached the bus. Bus? Huh, never expected to be riding
a bus to church. On the side of the bus it said "St. Joseph church". I walked on and was
greeted by a middle aged man sitting in the drivers seat. I found an empty seat towards
the back and sat down. I looked out the window. Just then I felt someone sit next to me. I
looked up to see Jonah. "Hey Jonah." I told him. "Hey Sami. You looked lonely so I
wanted to sit and talk to you. We haven't talked since we arrived 2 Days ago. " Jonah said.
I sighed. "Ya, I guess we just don't see each other anymore. " I told him. He sighed. "So,
how many friends have you made?" I asked changing the subject. "Tons, in fact all the
boys in my hall, are all friends with me. Derek is in the next door to me. He's so cool! I'm
honestly surprised he hasn't been adopted yet." Jonah told me. "Ya, I know how you feel. I
met the two coolest girls in the world. They are Stacy and Jessica. There the ones sitting
two seats in front of us laughing." I told him. He turned and looked at the two girls point
to stuff and start laughing. "They both are quirky, and beautiful. How could someone not
want them?" I asked him. He sighed. "I don't know." He told me. I sighed and looked out
the window. Just then a loud scream echoed through the bus. Then everything went black.
