My heart began to race as I neared a wooden barrier. Granted it was much to wide to catch anything but maybe a branch if one fell. I heard footsteps from the nearby forest area. I reached into my satchel for my weapon. This cat n mouse game was about to end. I stopped just before the barrier.

"Well, well, well. A human, huh?" A gravely voice asked.

Quickly I spun around and pulled out a bottle of mustard. The monster seemed taken aback.

"Wh-"

I stood there holding out mustard with a smirk. I offered it to him. He looked baffled but took it. I informed him I was human mustard and not his regular stuff. He stood there confused.

He looked at me again, but this time took a step back. He looked me in the eyes.

"What's your name?"

"Keith." I said slowly.

"Why your eyes red?"

I was confused. "Wh-? Why are you a skeleton?"

"Touche"

He mumbled something under his breath. He walked past me. I followed. A growl of irritation escaped his teeth.

I held my satchel even though it was around my neck. It clanged when I bumped into sans.

"What the hell is that." He snarled.

I scoffed. "Jars, duh."

I walked in front of him to a wooden structure.

"Hide here, I guess." Long silence "or die, don't care anymore."

I hid as I hear footsteps getting closer
