"so, first impressions?"

"on the team?"

"yes."

"overall, i wasn't prepared." renjun laughed. "actually if i remember correctly, i was standing in my room and i was with my brother jeno because we were planning a surprise birthday party for our mom and i got the call from coach jeon. it was a shocker. i dropped my phone at the time and jeno was like really worried and he asked me if he needed to call someone and i think a couple of hours later, jeno got the same call." renjun said and the male chuckled.

"wow. so you were home when it happened?" the interviewer asked and renjun nodded.

"now here's my favorite question. what is one thing you enjoy doing?"

"well i love art. everything about art is just so fascinating." renjun answered with admiration.

jihoon smiled.

"i love art too. i love the music kind of art. i guess we're kind of similar don't you think?" renjun chuckled before nodding.

"of course. you know you hardly ever meet people who have the same interest and i say when you find those people keep them, but i do want to say the phrase opposites attract, is a real thing."

"how deep." jihoon said and renjun laughed.

"do you have any advice for young ball players?"

"ah yes. something i wish i would've done when i was younger was to never give up. times were really rough when i was younger so i had a lot of quitting moments. all i can say now from then is that it's okay to be selfish every once in a while. if it's your dream, you do it. don't do it for anyone else but yourself." renjun said and jihoon nodded.

"i couldn't agree more with your statement. well i expect to see a lot from you this season."

"thank you. it's means a lot jihoon." renjun got up and bowed.

"it was a pleasure to have you here." jihoon smiled before shaking hands with renjun.

"thank you all for joining us today. please join us back on may fifteenth with renjun and the lee's. this interview will be held after the cubs at giants."

after the cameras cut renjun yawned.

"see you here in two weeks renjun!"

"of course. thank you for having me woozi hyung!"

"okay so babe! you won't believe what happened today!" renjun discarded any waste left on the table as he was listening.

"what happened?" renjun asked in amusement.

"okay so we had this patient right? you're not going to believe who it was." jaemin said in excitement and renjun only hummed.

"who was it jaem?"

"lee donghyuck."

"what? what surgery did he get?"

"the same you got around eight years ago."

"the only surgery i ever got was... what?!" renjun walked over and sat at the bar stool of their sink as he watched jaemin do the dishes.

"i know!" jaemin said drying his hands as he moved from the sink to beside renjun.

"was he supposed to play or something?" renjun asked in shocked.

"exactly what i said!"

"so did you talk to him?"

"well of course! he only asked about you though." jaemin scoffed as he turned his chair so he was directly facing renjun.
