You swing your feet, slowly pulling into the parking lot of the school and wave goodbye to your mom. you hop out of the car and enter the school, going to your classroom as your teacher, Ms. Alphys approaches you in a scurry like way. "Ah, Kris! T-today we are doing a project with a p-partner. so, uh, go find one p-please!" Your teacher goes back to her desk, and waits for you to pick a partner.
You go up to Susie, one of your classmates, who is surprisingly not late today. Susie is chatting with Noelle, another classmate of yours, they both seem to be semi-blushing. You approach them, and wave. "oh, hi Kris! I'm so sorry if you wanted to be partners with Susie, you can be her partner instead!" Noelle says to you lightly, smiling. You shake your head, saying it's fine and looking around.
everybody has a partner, except you. well, almost everybody. the know it all classmate, Berdly, is not yet chosen. You approach him and look annoyed but keep it in. "ah, Kris! I assume you want to partner with me, the smartest kid in class? of course you did, haha!" Berdly says in a stuck up way, looking very cocky.
You nod, almost stopping for some reason. You brush it off and look at Berdly bragging about how he is smart. You look up at your teacher as she claps her hands. "A-alright class, since everybody is partnered up we can s-start our project! We must learn things about this school, so you will go around school with y-your partner and learn more about school!"
"heh, teacher, I already know everything about this school, obviously." Berdly says in a confident tone, giggling weirdly. " w-well Berdly, you still have to do it.." Your teacher says in more of a mumbling tone. Your teacher disperses everybody and lets them go their separate ways.
