Imagine you're at a party and you make eye contact with a guy that you think is cute. But when he sees you staring at him, you quickly look at the other way and act like you weren't staring at him. Couple of minutes later you check back to see what he is doing and you see him looking at you already. He winks and smirks a little. You can feel your face turning red. You think to yourself, is he going to come over to talk to me. You peek a glance towards him and you see him walking towards you. You try to prepare some words beforehand. "Heyy cutie." Eww no, gross.
"Hi there". That's too polite.
"You wanna go out with me?" No that's too straightforward.
You see him coming so you start heading towards him too. You try introducing yourself to him.
"Hi, my name is..."
He walks past you before you can even finish your sentence. Turns out he wasn't looking at you but at your friend who was next to you.
