A year has passed since we last saw our favorite couple. Now, they're eighteen (well more specifically both nearly eighteen and three quarters) and can marry. They were originally going to get married as soon as they turned eighteen, but her Kalos Queen duties kept them from finding a time to do so. Also, Serena's parents bought a house next to Ash's parents so they could live nearby.

"You know Ash, I think we should get started on planning our wedding." Serena said.

"Yeah. Let's get started now." Ash said as he grabbed some paper.

"What's the paper for?"

"So we can write everything down."

"That's smart. We can't remember all of the details."

They began writing down lots of ideas. They also made a guest list. They decided to invite nearly everybody they could think of.

They brought their paper to both of their parents, and got more insight on what's needed. They picked out a venue, catering, etc.

Once those things were sorted out, they made some calls and booked the services.

Serena needed to get a dress made, so she made a call to the local dress shop. She told Ash to go in the other room, as she was giving specifications for what she wanted. Serena came in a few minutes later to tell him the news. She was nervous to hear what he thought.

"It's going to be four months until the dress is finished. The one I originally ordered was only about two weeks, but the lady said she wanted to make it way better."

"Alright, that's ok. But now we have to call all the other places and see if we can get a later time then." Ash said calmly.

"Oh thank Arceus you aren't mad, also we should call everyone we plan on inviting to find a day everyone can come." Serena said.

"You do the businesses and I'll do the guests." Ash suggested.

"Sounds good."

For the next two hours they just called, and called, and called some more. It was exhausting.

"That took way longer than it should've." Serena mumbled as she dropped onto the couch.

"Yep. Thank Arceus we only have to do this once."

From the long phone calls and excitement, they passed out on the couch together. Like a good mother, Delia took a picture.

"That's going on the fireplace."
