Lebanon Is Dying..

So let's talk about this small country in the Middle East that many of you don't know about.. as a person living in Lebanon it has been really tough.
Let's begin with how it all started. Back in august 4th 2020, a big explosion happened in Beirut, specifically in "Beirut port" that killed hundreds and injured thousands of people which also lead to destroying thousands of buildings, houses,shops....Asking me for the reason of this accident? I simply don't know! It has been 1 year since this hazardous accident and nobody knows yet..But what we know for sure is that the government are one of the main reasons of this misery. Citizens were left with a huge scar that can't be stitched, so they started protesting for months wishing to at least get refunds for their houses so they can have a place to live in...But the protests went silent like nothing has happened.
Then came 2021, which is by far one of the worst years Lebanon is facing.
Here is when the dollar crisis started. Basically in Lebanon both Lebanese Lira and the American dollar are used. For example,One dollar used to be 1500L.L only but now it sky rocketed to over 20,000 L.L which has caused
a massive increase in prices. This also lead the poverty count in Lebanon to increase, people now can barely afford a bag of bread!
Then came the electricity crisis that has been going on for over 40 years,
But this year is the worst. Electricity now barely comes for 4 hours each 24hrs...
The reason is , or should I say they ASSUME the reason is  because the government can't pay for petroleum, ain't nobody believing that.
Oh wait I am not even done yet, then we have the gasoline crisis.
All gas stations are closed "for not having enough gasoline".
Now if just one gas station opens, thousands of cars wait for hours in lines to fill up gas at just one station!
And today on august 15th 2021 an explosion happened in Akar ,Lebanon at
a gas station, that has until now took over 90 lives and over 100 injuries.
This country has faced many conflicts , but I listed the main ones, let's just pray that nothing happens forward on, and stay strong. People are sick and tired of everything that has happened already...and really need a rest to take a breath.
