Based on "Dear Theodosia" from HamHam!

Big Red frantically paced around the waiting room, grabbing the paper bag and repeatedly hyperventilating into it while an irritated EJ watched the events unfold, shaking his head. "Relax, Red. For goodness' sake, you're not the one who's pregnant."

"What if I don't love my children?" the red-haired man yelled. "What if I'm a terrible father? What if she leaves me? What if------"

"Just chill. Out," EJ groaned, running his hands through his hair. "You will be a great dad. Just take a chill pill, stop vomiting into that bag because it's getting gross, and go in to see your goddamn child."

"Mr. Redonovich? Your wife is ready for you," the midwife poked her head out from the room, smiling and signaling for him to come inside.

Red nervously looked back at EJ, who mouthed words of encouragement and offered him a giant thumbs-up. He took a deep breath and entered the room; it was now or never.

When he entered, he saw his beautiful wife; Ashlyn had just given birth, and she was flushed and breathing heavily even more than usual, but to him, she was even more gorgeous than she already was. When she placed the tiny, screaming infant into his arms, Red felt his heart break and consequently swell three times. Although it took about ten minutes for her to stop crying, the infant finally smiled, and he could've sworn he came undone right then and there.

"Are you...crying?" Ashlyn asked her husband. Tears were streaming down his cheeks as he cradled the baby girl so delicately, terrified that he would drop her.

"She's perfect," he sobbed. Red knew right then and there that he would be dedicating his life to her.

"We'll give the world to you, and you'll blow us all away," he whispered as he looked toward Ashlyn, beaming proudly. This would be the next chapter of their lives; the start of something new.
