Olivia was home alone with Miles when her father and little brother showed up. Olivia hadn't expected to see either of them, since Matthew promised to contact her when he wanted to come over so that she had some sort of warning.

"Yeah?" Olivia asked as she swung open the front door. She felt her heart beat hard in her chest when she saw her step-father and brother standing there.

"Hey, kid." Doug smiled softly as he looked his daughter over. He had watched Olivia grow up for many years, and he was so very proud of what she had accomplished. He hated himself, though, for not being around for her, and for not being here to be the doting grandfather that he wanted to be.

"D-dad? What are you doing here?" Olivia breathed.

"I told him about what we talked about yesterday and how nice it was to see you... so he wanted to see you with his own eyes. Make sure I wasn't lying." Matthew said with a small smile.

Olivia nervously tucked hair behind her ear before nodding slowly.

"Come in. I was in the middle of giving Miles a bath, but we will be done soon."

"Are you the only one here? If you are uncomfortable being here with us alone-"

"I'm definitely nervous, Dad. But Miles will help break the nervous energy. He's kinda an ice breaker in this situation."

Once Miles was done with his bath and finally dressed to play and probably get dirty, Olivia took him downstairs to see her father and brother.

"Uncle Matty!" Miles exclaimed as soon as he saw Matthew.

"Miles, you seem to have grown so tall since the last time we saw each other!" Matthew laughed. He stood quickly and lifted the boy up before hugging him tightly.

"I gotta be tall so I can take care of my sister! Her crib is really tall." Miles smiled.

"She is going to be so lucky to have you as a big brother, Miles. I am incredibly lucky to have your Mama as my big sister." Matthew spoke, as he looked over and sat his sister standing by the stairs. She was zoned out on the coffee table, and Matthew didn't know why.

She had seemed comfortable with him yesterday, but things seemed to have changed overnight.

"Matty, can you take Miles out back to play? He has a tree house that he likes to play in..." Olivia trailed off nervously.

"Yeah. Do you want-"

"I'm fine. Miles, put your jacket on and keep it on. And please avoid mud puddles."

Miles and Matthew went outside while Olivia made tea for herself and her father. When she was done, she carried the mugs out and sat beside her father.

"Liv, are you okay?" Doug asked, and Olivia swallowed hard as she turned to look at him.

"It's weird seeing you here... you and Mom were so certain that my fiance raped me, because you wanted to blame this unexpected pregnancy on someone." Olivia frowned.

"Kid-"

"Even Daniel ignores me. The only parents I have now are Bernie and Joseph. They are taking care of me and Bernie has helped me through the hardest days of my life. But you three wanted Elliot to be arrested... can you imagine how hard my life would be if Elliot was serving time in jail for a false rape, and I was here raising our son and growing our daughter?" Olivia spat.

Doug looked at Olivia with wide eyes. He didn't think she'd still be angry, but he hadn't truly realized how much he fucked up the relationship he had carefully developed with his step-daughter.

"Olivia-"

"I don't want anything to do with you, Mom, or Daniel. Instead of listening to Elliot and believing what he said, you decided to be assholes about it. From this moment on, my daughter and son will only have two grandparents. Bernie and Joseph will be a hundred times better than you three could ever be." Olivia spoke, as tears streamed down her cheeks. She stood and raked her fingers through her hair before moving to the front door.

She quickly grabbed her father's jacket before tossing it at him.

"Get out." She spat.

"Sweetie-"

"GET OUT!" Olivia screamed at the top of her lungs. Doug had never seen Olivia react like this, and it scared him a bit. He quickly pulled his jacket on and walked out, as Matthew and Miles came racing into the house.

"What's happening?" Matthew asked.

"I need you to leave, please. I can't have any of you here... Matty, I don't hate you. But I hate him. So take him home."

///

Elliot got home at his usual time and expected for Olivia to greet him at the door with a kiss. She was always so excited to see him, but she wasn't even downstairs when he finally got home.

"Ma?" Elliot asked, and Bernie frowned as she walked out of the kitchen and looked at her son.

"Hey, baby."

"Where's Liv?" Elliot asked.

"She's upstairs sleeping. She has had a rough day."

"What happened?" Elliot questioned nervously.

"Doug came over with Matthew. Olivia was panicking when I got home, so I gave her some tea and had her take a bath. Your father took Miles to stay with Carol and Jessica, so he wouldn't have to see Olivia like this." Bernie spoke softly.

"Did she tell you anything else?" Elliot breathed, and Bernie shook her head.

"No, she didn't. I checked in on her a few times, and she has gone silent."

"Fuck." Elliot grumbled. He took his jacket off and slipped his boots off before moving to the stairs.

He took them two at a time before eventually making his way to his bedroom. He opened the door, and found Olivia sitting on the edge of the bed with her hands holding her belly.

"Liv?" Elliot asked softly.

"Doug thought that everything would be okay if he came over today. He thought that he could just waltz into my life again after he said some nasty things about you, me, and the baby. I know that either him or Daniel called me a whore for getting pregnant after saying I'd wait until marriage to have sex. They just show up and make me feel horrible and super fucking angry."
