This is getting annoying with Lorraine being a meddlesome as always. There are times when she would just irritate the hell out of me...
Urg! Nakakainis pero hindi ko na lang pinansin. At least her pesterings are not bothering my plans at all.
What's been bothering me is the information I got through my investigation. There is this agency I used to handle 3 - 4 years ago. Sila yung nagbigay ng info sa akin. I found out na nag-a-undergo pala ng psychological therapy si Lorraine noong mga teenager pa siya. Apparently, may psychological issues ito. Upon further investigation, natuklasan ko na may dahilan kung bakit may mga issues si Lorraine.
My investigation went on and on until I found out about Mark Revalio, Lorraine's ex boyfriend. He's an engineer. May kaya rin ang pamilya nito. They have an engineering form and some hotels. Di nga lang talaga ito kasing yaman ni Lorraine.
Nag-arrange ako ng meeting sa kanya, and luckily, he did agreed.
""It's nice meeting you, Mark Revalio."
"It's nice to meet you too, Miss Zyra Rosello. I never expected that I can meet you in person." I smiled at him. He seems nice enough and handsome enough but not as handsome as compared to Carl.
"I am sorry for suddenly arranging a meeting with you. Di na ako magpapaliguy-ligoy pa. I want to know about your past relationship with Lorraine." Nawala ang ngiti nito sa mukha nang binanggit ko ang pangalan ng ex nito. Seryoso ko siyang tinitignan.
"Why would you want to know about that?" Seryosong tanong nito sa akin. I smiled secretly as I ignored his question.
"You still love her, don't you?" Nanahimik ito kaya nagpatuloy ako sa pagsasalita. "You know, she's about to get married and here you are, doing nothing?"
I am really playing a dangerous game. Nakikita ko na kasi ang inis sa mukha nito.
"It's none of your business."
"I make it my business kasi ang pakakasalan lang naman ni Lorraine ay ang taong mahal ko." Tinitigan ako ni Mark at tumitig din ako sa kanya only to signify that what I am saying is true. I held my head high para maipakitang seryoso ako.
He sighed.
"We broke up three years ago. " I listened as he continued. "She broke up with me." I feel sorry for the guy kasi mukhang mahal niya si Lorraine..
"Do you know why?" tanong ko. Tumango siya.
"Yes. I am not the perfect guy for her. " I can see the torn pride in his eyes. A pride that as trampled like it was nohing.
