A break

We all wish we could escape life sometimes, to disassociate from the universe every now and then. I just beg that time would stop, so I had time to think. I don't consider myself having a fast-paced life, but i still can't keep up with it. I always thought I'd be able to achieve big things, yet i still live in my little bubble of mediocrity. If i could just have a moment to take a step back and sort myself out, maybe I wouldn't be such a wreck. Unfortunately, time doesn't just stop for one person. So the universe moves along, while I don't. I'm counting every step, waiting to catch up. The worry of never catching up haunts me, that I would never make up for everything. So, I beg. I beg that everything would stop, so I could have time to cope with everything, without losing anything.
