I closed the door dramatically, putting my back against it. "Let me guess. You're probably thinking "Is this what love is?" and then calm romantic music is going to play. And, tada, your perfect main character moment." Mei commented sarcastically. What she just said was spot on and completely right. I was literally about to go upstairs and listen to romantic music.
"How long have you been there?" I asked. "And how did you read my mind?"
"I was here the whole time. And for your second question, that's exactly what I thought when I fell in love. But then, my heart was crushed and broken into a million pieces by the man I loved." she answered dramatically, emphasizing the last sentence. She was sitting on the couch with a cooked packet of instant ramen next to her.
"Anyways, did you do the deed?" she wondered, curiously awaiting my answer.
"That's none of your business. Hmph!" I said, embarrassed. She raised an eyebrow. "But, no. I didn't do it." I answered, feeling sad.
"There, there, little sister. You'll have another chance." My sister comforted me, caressing my head as I laid in her lap.
"Why'd you make him leave?"
"All of the noise you two were making could've woken up mother. And she would've been displeased with you. Plus, you are not having $€x under my roof."
"I thought you would kill me. But you seem so chill about it." I said, wondering why she wasn't mad at me.
"You don't think I've been in your shoes? If I were you, I wouldn't want a sister who interfered with my love life unless it was completely necessary. Considering Han is a nice and trustworthy guy, I don't think I need to intervene." she explained. "And, if you don't start looking for a guy now, you'll end up like me. An unmarried woman at 29," she added, laughing in self-pity.
"There's nothing wrong with being unmarried, Mei. The man you'll fall for will appear at the right time." I encouraged her.
I loved the heart-to-heart we were having. It had been so long since we truly had a moment like this where we talked honestly to each other about our feelings.
"Oh yeah. I'd just like to add that if he breaks your heart, I will crush him like a walnut," she said in a more serious tone. I sweated, knowing she was not lying.

So much for saying 'See you tomorrow.' He had to go on a mission the very next day! I paced around angrily. I miss him and I want to talk more about our relationship with him. It's been a week since our late-night encounter. "Ugh! When is this man going to return!" I exclaimed, making all the villagers turn their heads to look at me. "Hehe... Sorry~" I rubbed the back of my head.
I was on my way to my sister's office to see what she was up to cause I had nothing better to do. I mean, I could've been doing something productive like go on a mission but my annoying overprotective sister would never let me do that. I fumed, even more, stomping my feet as I got closer to the office building.
The next thing I knew, I was already there. "Sigh. I bet she's probably doing something boring. Why should I even bother going inside the building?" I asked myself.
"Maybe you should since I'm also going inside." a familiar voice said. I turned around, noticing the owner's purple eyes and shark smile.
"Hangetsu, you ghoster!" The fire of rage lit brightly in my eyes. I startled Hangetsu, making him freeze in place. He tried to muster up a response. "How could you leave for a week-long mission without telling me?" I scowled, running into his arms and hugging him.
