Gabe woke up from his slumber. The morning breeze and sunlight were the things that greeted him good morning.

It's so good to be on a vacay. He yawned widely just as his arms and legs stretched. He could still feel the softness of the mattress he was previously laid on.

"Another morning and it's great to be awake," he whispered. Then he crawled down from the bed and only realized that he was butt naked.

His hands immediately grabbed for the blanket as soon as he dropped on the floor and covered himself.

A short but sweet memory then reminded him about how wonderful the previous night was.

"I love you so much Gabe," Chase whispered to his ears.

They shared a passionate kiss after he uttered those words. Gabe couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach whenever the man of his dreams was close to him.

Now that it's almost just a distant memory, Gabe could only smile and feel his heart flutter in joy. He never thought that this day would come. The day when his life completely changes.

It still feels like he's on cloud nine, or maybe his angels are still lifting him. Either way, it works very well for him and there's nothing more he could ever want.

"Why are you sitting on the floor?" Chase asked.

He just got back from his morning jog and he wasn't expecting to see his boyfriend on the floor covering himself up.

"I forgot that I'm naked," Gabe answered. "Or perhaps I wasn't actually aware that my boyfriend didn't dress me up after he made love to me."

Chase chuckled before walking to the other side of the bed. He bent down and took the discarded clothes on the floor. It was his but he couldn't find Gabe's so he knows better than to be naked.

"Here," Chase said and gave the clothes to his lover.

Gabe reached it from him, quietly whispering thank you.

"I already made breakfast." Chase took a towel hanging on the waistband of his shorts. Then he used that towel to dry his sweat-soaked hair. "Because I was expecting to see you eating already when I come home."

"Why, how long have you been out?" Gabe asked.

"About 1 and a half hours, give or take," Chase answered.

Gabe nodded his head before standing up and looking at the clothes properly for the first time. Just then he realized that it was Chase's. "This isn't mine."

"You're my boyfriend, you can wear it."

"Where did you put my clothes?" He pouted at Chase as he laid on his stomach atop of the bed. "I really like that top, you know." This facial expression of Gabe was the weakness of Chase and the former knows it more than anyone else. This is why the older guy already knows what he's up to. He stared at Gabe to fight it off but the longer they gaze at each other, the softer Chase's heart gets.

"We'll find it, maybe under the bed or something." He placed the towel down before sitting atop the bed. He also moved closer to his boyfriend, dipping the mattress even further. They took another second before they locked their lips.

It was quick but it was sweet and Gabe could only smile through the kiss.

"Did I do it too hard?" Chase suddenly asked, the second they pulled away from each other.

"No, it was amazing," Gabe answered with all honesty. "I actually think my back still hurts too."

Chase suddenly let out a belly laugh. "This is why I love you."

"I love you too," Gabe whispered. He extended his arms and put them around Chase's nape before pulling him in for another kiss. This time it was shorter.

Chase then stood up from the bed and walked over to the window. It has a great view of the beach outside and the people surfing.

Such a great morning. Chase thought to himself.

"I'm gonna eat now," Gabe said just after he dressed himself up.

"Alright," Chase replied.

Gabe didn't forget to approach his lover and give him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you down there."

"Enjoy your breakfast."

With that being said Gabe went out of the room and walked down to the dining room. He saw the table and the food prepared.

Little things such as this make his day much better. Now that he woke to a beautiful day, a loving boyfriend, and a great breakfast, Gabe knew that nothing else will make this day bad for him. No matter what.

He went over to the vacant chair in front of the table. Because the shirt is bigger than his body size, Gabe enjoyed feeling sexy after he pranced around the house wearing only his boxers and his boyfriend's oversized shirt.

"It even smells like oranges and angels," he whispered.

He started eating his breakfast as soon as his stomach spoke to him for the 3rd time today. He could still taste the steak and wine from yesterday's dinner when he burped but it's okay. Because he didn't only remember the menu, he also remembered every single beat of his heart, tick of the clock, and the clink of the glasses.

It was a wonderful night indeed. And it just gives him the feeling that no matter how many times he comes back to it, it always feels like it happened for the first time.

Gabe resumed eating, smiling like an idiot about the memory repeatedly running in his head. He is so preoccupied that he didn't notice that the pancakes were filled with strawberry jam. Nevertheless, it tastes delicious and he will surely remember it after an hour or two.

Gabe's phone started to ring while he was in the middle of devouring the luscious breakfast. With his hand holding the fork which pierced through the pancake, he stood up and went over to the coffee table.

"Unknown number," he reads before ignoring the call and walking back to the table.

The phone call eventually died down before another phone call from the same number came through. It made Gabe stand up to check the number once again.

"Who is calling me in the middle of my vacation?" He picked up the phone and answered the call. "Hello?"

"Is this Mr. Wilson's phone?" the caller asked. Her voice is low in volume and it seems like she's hiding or somehow just woken up.

"Speaking," Gabe answered. "However, I do apologize because I can't entertain you today."

"What do you mean?"

Gabe scratched the back of his head before hitting the loudspeaker of the phone. "Hold on."

He walked back to the table and placed the phone next to his plate. He could hear nothing from the other side of the call except for the breathing of the woman calling him.

After he sat back down on the chair, he resumed eating. "I'm on a vacation, miss. I don't talk about business during a vacation."

"Vacation?" she asked. She paused for a while before she gasped loudly. "Who are you with?"

"Uhm, does that matter?"

"Yes. Because your life depends on it."

"O-kay," Gabe chuckled before picking up the phone. He removed it from the loudspeaker and placed it next to his ear. "Listen, ma'am, if you are prank-calling me. I'm telling you, I'm not falling for this. Have a good day."

"No, wait!" Her voice raised and the volume is now louder than earlier. "I'm Jason's mother."

"Jason?" Gabe asked. He knew he heard that name before but couldn't figure out where.

"Jason Moss."

The ex-secretary of Chase Towers. Chase's... ex-boyfriend.

"What do you want, Mrs. Moss?"

"You need to know the truth about my son," she answered calmly. "Or else, Sofia will die."
