Y/N POV

Y/n is helping Kayla pack so she can move

Kayla: have you found a new roommate yet?
Y/n: no, everyone i found seemed creepy or weird
Kayla: Travis's best friend Patrick is looking for a place in town
Y/n: really? what's his number
Kayla: 736-517-0267(random number lmao)
Y/n: okay thanks i'll call him when we're done
Kayla: i think we're done packing and everything is in my car
Y/n: so your about to leave?
Kayla: yeah i'm gonna miss you
Y/n: same i'm gonna be lonely
Kayla: NO if Patrick moves in you won't be he's a pretty cool guy
Y/n: okay i guess

TIME SKIP

Kayla just left i'm gonna miss her but we promised to still hang out, i decided to call Patrick and see if he wanted to move in

i call him and he answers almost instantly

Y/n: Hi is this Patrick?
Patrick: yea who's this?
Y/n: Y/n i'm Kayla's friend
Patrick: oh, Travis told me you were looking for a roommate?
Y/n: yea actually that's what i wanted to talk to you about, i was wondering if you wanted to move in with me, the house is pretty big, we have extra rooms and lots of space
Patrick: yea sure! i've been looking for a place for awhile now, what the address?
Y/n: 73972 chanticleer ln
Patrick: okay great can i come over today so we can properly meet and discuss everything?
Y/n: yea sure! i'll be home all day so you can come whenever
Patrick: okay i'll be there in an hour!
Y/n: okay bye!
Patrick: Bye!

i hung up and decided to get dressed

OUTFIT:

i decided to wear something comfortable, and i wanted to cook us a meal since i was hungry

i made pasta

TIMESKIP

i heard a knock at my door and got nervous, i opened the door to see a very tall man with curly hair, he was wearing joggers and a chiefs sweatshirt

Patrick: hi!
Y/n: hey! come in!
Patrick: ooh do i smell pasta?
Y/n: yea actually! i made some because i was hungry and didn't know if you would like something to eat
Patrick: thank you! im pretty hungry right now

we walked to the kitchen and made our plates

Patrick: the house is really nice!
Y/n: thanks! it took me forever to figure out what kind of style i wanted
Patrick: it's really pretty, so are they're any rules?
Y/n: no, im honestly really laid back
Patrick: same! so when could i move in?
Y/n: i don't care, i don't have a busy schedule anytime soon
Patrick: so tomorrow? i already have everything packed
Y/n: sure!

TIME SKIP

while we were eating we had some small talk and tried to get to know each other, after dinner we watched a movie on the couch, after the movie we realized what time it was and decided it was time for him to leave, after he left i took a shower, skincare, and cleaned and decided it was time to go to sleep, all i could think about before i went to sleep was that Patrick was extremely attractive and charming, so i don't know how i'm gonna survive and Kayla told me that he's single so i might have a chance
