Inktober 16th Past

There they were on the highest platform of the Eiffel tower, literally trapped in the cold October night, neither of them even wearing a coat.

Gabriel noticed, that Nathalie had begun to shiver and parted their kiss, to take of his blazer and lay it around her, to then pull her taut to himself.

"Come my love, let's get you somewhere warm, okay?", he suggested.

But Nathalie shook her head and snuggled herself more into Gabriel, as she whispered into his ear:

"Not yet. I would like to stay a few minutes longer. And there's something, you need to know!"

The tall man brought a little distance between them, asking, while he brushed a loose strand behind her ear:

"You sound so serious, do I need to be scared?"

With a loving smile the young assistant shook her head and cupped his face with both hands.

"I just wanted you to know, that I love you too. I always have!", she said sweetly.

With a beaming smile Gabriel lifted the young woman up and whirled her around, then slowly let her back onto both feet.

While they started kissing again, they heard a thud beside them and suddenly noticed Ladybug, who had landed there to destroy the ribbon and cleanse the Amok.

"M-Mr Agreste, N-Nathalie. You are, but......why? Why would you do those evil things to people?", the Superheroine asked.

Gabriel sighed, then said:

"It's all in the past now, but maybe you could get us out of the cold, before I'll tell you the whole story? That would be very kind. I am still worried about Nathalie's healt, so maybe you could take us back home?"

Ladybug hesitated. She looked at both of them for some time, then agreed:

"Okay, I will take you home and make sure, that this isn't some kind of trick. And, that Adrien won't find out about it, if you're really telling the truth and giving up!"

Without further hesitation she then took first Nathalie and then Gabriel back to the mansion.

Hearing the designer's story and why he was doing all of this, how he had eventually decided, to move on from Emily, to be happy with Nathalie, she made a decision:

"I will trust you, for now. And I most certainly hope, you won't disappoint that trust. I won't call the police, for your son's sake!"

"I will not disappoint you, Ladybug! That's why I let you have the Miraculouses back. I want a new start with this wonderful woman and I certainly don't want to ruin it!"

The young Superheroine held out her hand and Gabriel took it with a firm grasp.

"Thank you", he hissed and with an approving tilt of her head, Ladybug swung her yoyo and vanished into the night.

Gabriel walked to Nathalie, who was still slightly shaking from the cold.

The assistant still couldn't believe, what he just did, but she, for now, didn't care either. She just stood up from the armchair, she had been sitting in and was immediately pulled into a hug, while he smashed his lips onto hers.
