Inktober 15th Formal

The evening approached rather quickly and Nathalie was sitting at her desk in the office, waiting for Gabriel.

She was nervous, as this was the first time, that he didn't tell her, what he was planning to do.

She had been waiting for years now, hoping, he would eventually accept Emilie's death and move on. But if he wanted her help as Mayura, he was still trying to get the Ladybug and the Black Cat Miraculous and that meant, he still wanted to get his wife back.

Being completely lost in her thoughts, she stared at the dark screen in front of her, not noticing the designer entering the room.

She flinched, as he suddenly held the Peacock Miraculous in front of her.

"I am sorry, dear! I didn't mean to scare you!", Gabriel said softly and held out his hand, "are you ready?"

Nathalie took a deep breath, then nodded. I am ready, she confirmed and laid her hand into his.

"Wonderful", Gabriel enthused and pulled her with him to his wife's portrait, where he soon pushed the combination of buttons with his fingers.

After transforming into their villain form, Hawkmoth held out his hand.

"My dear, beautiful Mayura! Would you do me the honours and accompany me into the Parisian night?", he questioned sweetly.

Mayura kept her eyes on him, when she nodded and grabbed his hand, to be caught by surprise because the villain pulled her taut and grabbed her waist, to carry her into the cool, October night.

A moment later, they were standing on top of the Eiffel tower, staring down at the lights and the movements of the cars and people.

Hawkmoth pulled Mayura into a corner, where nobody would be able to see them. There he handed her a purple ribbon.

"Would you be so kind and use this, to create a human like Sentimonster?", he asked excitedly.

Mayura shrugged, then worked her magic. A couple of seconds later a figure appeared, who had neither face nor any recognizable features.

"There!", she said and handed him the ribbon back.

He took it, then ordered:

"I need your Miraculous now!"

Mayura didn't dare to ask and so she just said:

"Duusu, fall my feathers", to then take off the brooch and lay it onto Hawkmoth's palm. What he did now, made her speechless.

"Nooroo, dark wings fall!"

Then he took off the purple pin from his collar and gave both to the Sentimonster.

"Bring those to Ladybug and tell her, where she can find the object, that holds the amok!"

While the Sentidummy left, he tied the purple ribbon to a post. Then he turned around to face Nathalie. Taking both her hands into his own, he said solemnly:

"Now, my love, I can eventually do, what I should have done ages ago. I am going to let Emilie rest in peace and now, I will formally and officially do this..."

He took a step towars her, now standing so close, she could feel his warm breath on her face, as he said:

"I love you, Nathalie", to then kiss her.
