Kabanata 39

Another day, another pag pupursigi.

After putting my pumps on, I grabbed my beige French coat and put it over my black turtle neck sweater.

Balak kong lumabas ng naaga ngayon kahit mamaya pang after lunch ang pasok ko. I promised Alex that I will tour him around via video call. Isa pa, I planned to go to Notre Dame for a mass.

See? I am religious now!

The six hours time difference from the Philippines is hard to adjust.

Noong unang buwan ko dito talagang ang lala ng home sick ko, gusto ko nalang umuwi pabalik ng Pilipinas. But then I manage to adjust, and so does the people back home.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle!" Elleina, my neighbor, greeted me after locking my door.

"Good morning, Elleina." I greet her back.

Elleina is one of those who really welcomed me here. Kagaya ko, mag-isa niya ring nakatira sa apartment niya.

Nakaka mangha nga siya eh. Matandang dalaga kasi siya, kaya mag-isa siya sa buhay. But regardless of that fact, you can say that she's happily living her life alone.

"You go out early?" Her english is not aa fluent as mine, but I see no problem with that since I can totally understand what she's trying to say.

"Yes. I promised my son that I'll tour him around via video call."

Tumango siya sa akin ng naka ngiti at nag thumbs up pa. "Prenez soin de vous et profitez-en."

"Thank you."

I am not sure kung anong sinabi niya, but I am pretty sure she said something like enjoy. It's kinda hard learning French, tho I can say that I am quite a fast learner. Something to be proud of.

Just like what is planned. I went to the Notre Dame first before touring Alexander around. Masayang masaya siya habang pinapakita ko sa kanya ang Paris.

You can also hear the excitement from his voice. Another reason to work hard so I can bring him here. 

Hindi naman porket hawak ko na 'yung trust fund ni grandma ay gagasta na ako ng gagasta. Just like what I've said, I need to choose where I can invest my money properly.

Dumeretso ako sa school after ng mabilis na tour na 'yun. 

Kung kanina eh ngiting-ngiti ako, ngayon naman kulang nalang pekehin ko ang ngiti ko sa mga kaklase ko.

Shutang mga 'to, mabait lang pag naka harap si Gastone. Pag kami-kami lang kulang nalang pag tulungan nila ako.
