Summary: Bella and Edward are engaged in 1918 when the Spanish Influenza hits Chicago. When Edward 'dies' Bella is alone with her grief, making her cold and cruel to everyone around her.

87 years later when now vampire Bella arrives in Forks Washington, she meets the Cullens and a familiar bronze haired vampire who looks like her Edward but it couldn't be, could it? With a little help from the Cullens, will Bella get her forever with her Edward? Will Edward melt the ice around her heart?

BELLA

I haven't spoken to Alice since we returned from Chicago two days ago. I've been hiding in Edwards' room or the woods.

I'm reading Carlisle's copy of Pride and Prejudice when a noise comes from behind me in the clearing. "Bells?" Emmett's booming voice is loud and in front of me with Rosalie next to me. "I swear to god if the fucking pixie sent you here, I'm ripping her apart, I told her I'm not going back to Chicago until I'm ready. I don't care if Major is her mate, I will rip her apart." I growl, standing up. "Bella, Alice didn't send us," Rosalie says gently. "Edward sent us, he wants to talk to you." I smile at the mention of Edward's name. "Okay." I close the book and rain back home with Rosalie and Emmett following me.

I beat Rosalie and a whining Emmett home. I laugh as we enter the Cullen house. "Emmett, I beat you square and fair, now stop whining and find a way to deal with the fact that Edward's fiancé from his human life beat your ass." I say, giggling.
"Did Bella beat Emmett home?" The pixie asks from the living room. I scoff and roll my eyes. "Like you didn't see. I mean you are a future seeing vampire, aren't you?" I ask sarcastically. Alice doesn't say anything. "All right, all right, before you two start attacking each other again, I have to ask Bella something." Edward says, chuckling.

I look at Edward and gasp, my hands covering my mouth: one one knee, holding a large green emerald diamond nestled in a velvet ring box is Edward. I sense deja vu.

"I know I've done this once before and I promised you that we'd have our forever but our forever ended before it really began, so, Isabella, I've loved you since I was 15 and my love for you hasn't extinguished in the 87 years that we've been separated if anything it's made me love you more, so Isabella Marie Swan, I promise you that we will have forever this time, so will you do me the honour of marrying me?"
I repeat the words I said 87 years ago. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes Edward!" Edward puts the ring on my finger and picks me off the couch, swinging me around before kissing me. We pull away from each other when we hear the applause coming from his family. Edward puts his forehead against mine and looks into my eyes.

"I love you."

"Now, tomorrow, next week and forever."
