Destruction Sub Chapter 1

It's been awhile since Axel was taken from us so the rest of us just kinda separated. We all had the same thing In mind. So as me and Chrono are are in our dorm together we havent really seen much of anyone. Also classes are out for the summer so we don't have to study unless we want to. I'm just relieved I passed my classes. But my courses were all battle and strategy oriented so I guess it was easy.

I'm in the bathroom thinking about me and Chrono's relationship. When I walk out of the bathroom drying my face off, when he asked me something without even turning from his desk messing with his gauntlet. "Hey Rai will you be my official boyfriend?" I was shocked because I realized we haven't really made it official.

"I thought we were already boyfriends I mean I haven't felt this way about anybody." He dropped his gauntlet and got up and hugged me. It felt so natural with him and in his arms I just could not imagine how I could handle anything hurting him. He may have been bigger but from training with Dr. Claus I have figured out I'm stronger.

He said "Don't worry about Axel and anything else we can handle it." He gave me his usually dorky smile. But I saw his eyes start to water slightly. At the same time so did mine. He kissed me softly as our lips locked. I couldn't help it as I went to grab his hand and I shocked him. "You would think I would be use to that by now." We laughed and got dressed to go out and take a mission from the student hall. We needed to pay for our dorm rent.

I have my blades on my back each in there own sheathes. He walked right next to me. I guess now hes only about one inch taller than me. We move to the student hall and see a paper on the mission board.

This can only mean one thing. Shadow Troupe. We went to go let Dr.Claus know. When this girl with dark clothes was studying at the table a copy of the paper we had. Her shirt was purple and had a black cloak she had black pants too. All the dark clothing just set off her pale skin and even more with her curly hair that had the occasional rainbow stripe in it.

Chrono whispered to me "She looks a bit like a vampire don't you think?"

I looked at her again and saw her staff with too big orbs on each end lying on  the ground beside her. "Are you taking the same mission as us?"

"Why yes I am seems like we may be coworkers. Nice to meet you I'm Reyna." She got up after closing her book and putting it in her leather satchel. "Now stop staring at me and introduce yourselves." She just went from warm and nice to really cold. But I don't see her as a threat.

"Oh I'm sorry yea I'm Rai." I said kinda nervous as she called me out on my manners. "This is my close friend Chrono." I was kinda nervous to just say my boyfriend and I hope he understood. They exchanged hellos and such as we then sat down and started exchanging information on what we know according to this job. But we couldn't mention the Shadow Troupe so we just left it at we have seen them before.

We then tried to go look for Dr. Claus but we couldn't find him in his office or the battle arena. I guess he is checking on Ms.Rune she hasn't been the same since her fight with Ame. So we took the next day getting to know Reyna. I'm happy her and Chrono are getting along, they both love video games. Then I remembered. I forgot Kova's game at home. "Chrono! The game I told you about we gotta get it before its too late!"

"Oh yea lets go to the transportation office to take us back to your home."

Reyna seemed lost. "Don't we have a mission to do?"

I remembered well its not like I forgot but this is important and this would be great for us to see her in action. I'm curios about what she can do. "Well I have a feeling we can kill two birds with one stone."
