"The maid's daughter? Really Theodore, have you completely lost your mind" Susan Cunningham said slamming a magazine down on the custom-made desk. Theodore karrington looked down at the magazine, eyes scanning the cover that had his Eldest son Roman and his new bride plastered all over it.
"How dare you speak to my husband in that tone Susan. this is none of your business." Elizabeth Harrington said storming into the office. she had heard Susan yelling from down the hall.
Elizabeth stood in front of Susan with her arms folded across her chest. she stood a few inches taller than the other woman. in the looks department, she and Susan looked completely different. Susan was a slim woman with pale skin. she had bleached blond hair and was currently sporting her new nose. her face had been through so many surgeries over the years that a smile would probably break her face, she had gotten another breast job and wore a revealing shirt to prove it. Susan was desperately trying to hold on to her youth at age 43. she was on the prowl for her third husband.

Elizabeth was a smaller woman as well but not as skinny as Susan. she was tall and had dark wavy hair. a natural beauty. she married Theodore when she was 19 years old, that was 24 years ago. they gave birth to their firstborn son Roman a year later. then jax who is 22 and last their baby girl Saphire who just turned 19.
Susan glared at Elizabeth with piercing blue eyes. "my daughter and I leave the country for a month and your son gets married to another woman. she was devastated when she heard the news, how dare he do this to caroline?" she says dramatically as if she was about to cry. Elizabeth had to turn away to keep from rolling her eyes at the women. she always had to make a scene.
"if memory serves me right Susan, Roman and caroline weren't in a committed relationship. let's be adults about this. we all know what was going on between those two" Theodore spoke up in a board tone. Susan's eyes grew huge and she acted as if she was offended.
"my daughter was no little plaything Theodore. they were in love" she said slamming her hands down on the desk.
Elizabeth scuffed. ''No caroline was in love, Roman was not. he made it clear to everyone including you and Caroline that they were not in a relationship"
