The sudden swarm of dust flew right into your face as you stuck your head out the window of the old Cavalier. You groaned with annoyance as your father gave a small chuckle, you had just moved from California all the way to Washington to live in a old victorian home. ''So, are you excited?'' Your dad had tried to make small talk with you. Things had been hard since the recent passing of your mother and he tried his best to be there for you. ''Totally..'' You flung your hands in a sarcastic motion. ''Dont worry....were almost there.'' You set your attention back to the now closed window, slowly drifting off to sleep.

You were standing in an open field with an assortment of flowers all around, you noticed the sky was pitch black with little to no stars and the moon seemed farther than expected. You'd turn to try and leave but your legs wouldn't budge. You stared down at a pair of dead, cold hands that wrapped around your ankles. Frozen in fear you get pulled down under the dirt ending up in a large ball room. It seems very old yet luxurious in a way. You notice how many foggy figures of men and women there are and you squint your eyes as they're wearing large ball gowns and tuxedos. You begin to dust yourself off as sudden figure started making its way towards you. His amber gaze never took itself off of you. "Would you like to dance, m'lady?" He blinked, as his cat like eyes entranced you. "Ah, sure." You stammered. He bowed and you did the same, feeling embarrassed by your awkwardness. Both of you held up one arm intertwining finger as you put your hand on his shoulder and he placed his on your hip. You let out a small whimper at how cold his hands were, even if they were covered by gloves. You danced the night away as you watched his blonde hair sway, you had never noticed his black roots and it gave him a bit of difference from the rest of the men at the ball. You smiled warmly feeling at home, the last thing you remember is both of you standing on the balcony of the mansion as you stared at the garden. It was covered with wild hyacinth and a fountain was placed in the middle. Ivy grew around the edges and water spouted from it. You felt his eyes on you but said nothing, the silence was soothing as you closed you're eyes. Letting all of your worry's go.
