The Avengers

Chapter 1

Steve POV : *I can't believe it I'm already a junior next thing I know is I'll be in college. Tomorrow is my first day and I'm really exited. Well I know Bucky will probably skip the first day ... week. But I hope to see my friends because I couldn't see them this summer because of work and baseball. I was going to see If swimming would be good for me. It'd definitely keep me in shape for spring. Anyways what am I even going to wear* .. As I look at my phone I see many missed texts from Bucky. "Shit I'm already late for practice". I ran out the house and sprinted to the fields. "God , just a month then I can get my license". I say under my breath. I needed to stop at a store to pick up a bandage because I hurt my ankle last tournament. A ran up and down the isles I couldn't find one freaking bandage. "Could this day get ANY WORSE"! I actidently yelled but I was pissed. Everyone was staring but I couldn't care less. "Um e-exuse me s-sir, I know where the bandages ar..." "Shut up  I don't need anyones hel..." I say as I found out I was yelling at a little girl. As I tried to apologize she ran to what I was guessing was her sister, because she was probably younger than me. I ran up to them almost in tears. "I am s-so sorry I've had a very rough couple days and I would love to make it up to you guys..." The sister cut me off "You're friends with Bucky aren't you". "Y-yes but can I". "God now who do you think you are. Your day probably was better than everyone elses, I finally got my parents to agree to let me out of the house and this is what I get in return. Just leave. Here are your stupid bandages". She threw them at me and stormed off. I recognized her ... she was that girl that got to skip years because she was insanely smart. My friends told me about her. "Wow that was pretty badass" I say to myself as I made it to practice. "Yo Rodgers you decided to finally come to practice, I thought you bailed". Bucky said as he threw a glove at me and ran out to the pitchers mound. 

*Fast forward to the morning*

*Alarm , Alarm* "Uhhhh now I understand why Bucky hates school" I got up and put on my varsity jacket from last year and some jeans. As I made it to the drive way Bucky and Clint pulled up in their new car. "What a sick ride, Buck is this yours". "All paid out" Bucky said as he opened the passenger door. "I thought you were going to skip school" "I was but this cute girl hit me up and why not meet up you know. Besides that reminds me this year I'm getting you a girl friend Steve, but not like Clint and Laura ... They're basically married". "Haha try your best shot Buck I bet you can't get me a girl that won't cheat on me for ... well you" "Wanna shake on it" ...

We make our deal and made it to school.

I walked through the doors and was shocked this high school is so much bigger than it was before covid. They renovated the classes and expanded the school property for more sport fields. While I was in aw Bucky left us and wandered to his so called class. Clint and I just laughed because there was no way he's going to class. We both had the same first period which was honors physics ... it was my only honors class same with Clint. We walked into the classroom and took our seats. The class was pretty small because no one really takes honors physics, it's that weird class with weird teachers. As the teacher started to introduce there self someone walked in late, I'm guessing she was an assistant. As she took off her hood and helped the teacher with his schedule I recognized her , I don't know from where but I do. They introduced themselves as Mr. Foster a teacher of 15 years and Ms. Carter who is apparently a student who is academically ahead of everyone. Clint as the class clown pranked Mr. Foster by shooting spit balls on his back until he noticed. As Mr. Foster was about to respond the assistant yelled. "God now who do you think you are"! I sat there shocked as I turned around .. Now I recognize her she was that sister of that girl I accidentally yelled at. She glared at me as she ordered Clint to stay after class. I guess that was a sign I should stay as well. As the bell rang Clint tried to run out but she just lifted him up. It was funny because she was way taller than him. He took a seat as the teacher gave him detention for a week, as for me he was confused why I was still there. But I knew. As he gestured us to leave I saw Ms. Carter follow us. Clint wasn't up for getting embarrassed again so he bolted as he turned the corner, leaving me to my funeral. "Some idiot friend huh , I've experienced that recently". She said as she brought her attention to me. "Listen I was being a dick, I was treating your sister very poorly and I will keep apologizing until she forgives me". She just looked confused. "Sister... she's not my sister". "W-what really then is she your..." "Yeah she's my kid , but that's not my story to tell a stranger". "I'm sorry if that was disrespectful ir anythin.. Can I please make it up to you , Please". She nodded as she headed back to the physics room. * YES finally I say to myself as I make my way to PhysEd.
