A few moments after hearing that the Grass Ninja were moving towards their village, everyone moved into position. While most of them moved into position around the Hokage, their were some Ninja that were preparing to flank the enemy Ninja as they came inside of the village. When the gate guard noticed that everyone was in position, they pulled something on the gate which caused the wooden barrier to swing itself inward which would cut off view of the Leaf Ninja that were waiting to surround them.
From his position, Naruto could see the convoy of Grass Ninja coming towards them and from the way that they kept their hands on their weapons; it seemed to him that they were planning on fighting against them which wouldn't be the smartest idea considering the captives that the Leaf had in their clutches.
Wanting to ensure that the Grass Ninja kept themselves in line, Naruto motioned for the Ninja that were standing behind their captives to give the Grass the incentive to be on their best behavior within their village.
Just as the Grass Ninja made their way through the opened village gates, the Leaf Ninja placed their kunai upon the throats of their captives. Expressions of fury jumped upon each of the Grass Ninja that had made their way into the village and though it was obvious that they wished to end the lives of every Leaf Ninja that were threatening their comrades, they weren't willing to risk the lives of the captives. The moment that the enemy shinobi had made their way deeper into the village, those Leaf Ninja that were hiding behind the gates surrounded them which cut off any hope of escape that they could have been planning.
While Naruto wished to be the one to inform the Grass Ninja what would happen if they took one wrong step while they were within the Leaf Village, he knew that it wasn't his place to do so.
Motioning towards the Ninja that had formed a protective circle around their Kage, Naruto watched as the Ninja separated to allow their Hokage free. The moment that Lady Tsunade saw that she could walk freely once more, she immediately made her way towards the convoy of Grass Ninja.
Not willing to allow Tsunade to risk herself without having anyone next to her that could fight beside her if the Grass decided to attack, Naruto was quickly following after her. Just how Naruto wasn't willing to allow his Kage to risk herself, there were those who weren't going to allow him to do so either. As soon as Naruto took a step towards Tsunade, Maris, Kakashi as well as Sasuke popped into existence beside him.
Nodding his head towards those who had appeared beside him, Naruto continued onwards and while he was curious as to where Maris had been hiding himself away at; he knew that this wasn't the time for questions.
Considering that Tsunade had been the first to start towards the convoy of enemy Ninja, she was the first to arrive though Naruto and those that were following beside him; arrived moments after she did. When Tsunade noticed that Naruto and the others had arrived beside her, she began speaking to the leader of the Grass Ninja.
"Kosami, while I would be lying if I said it was a pleasure to see you again; I am thrilled that you have been able to keep yourself safe during your invasion of my village." Tsunade called out to the Ninja that stood at the head of the Grass convoy.
Looking in the direction that her eyes were staring, Naruto could see that the man that stood at the head; looked to be around thirty years old. He had pale skin that was adorned by tattoos that swirled across his skin in a pattern that Naruto didn't understand. Upon his head, was midnight black hair that was held in a hairstyle that was similar to Naruto's comrade Shikamaru.
Standing beside the man known as Kosami, was another male that looked to be around Naruto's own age. Due to the similarities between the younger male and the leader of the Grass Village, Naruto assumed that the two of them were related though due to the seriousness of this meeting; Naruto had to push his curiosity away for now.
Before Kosami could comment on the words that Tsunade had spoken, the Hokage of the Leaf continued speaking once more. "We can continue this meeting within my office though be warned, if your Ninja even take one step that seems hostile towards my citizens; then the captives we have will be slaughtered before their eyes!" Tsunade growled before turning from the Grass leader and making her way towards the Hokage Tower.

"This is absurd! Do you really expect me to follow this treaty to the letter?" Kosami screeched as he slammed his hands upon the desk within Tsunade's office.
While the Grass leader didn't hold any weapon within his hand, the Leaf Ninja that accompanied Tsunade during this mission took it as a hostility and quickly began to ready themselves to end the life of the foreign leader. Before Naruto or any of his comrades could unleash a horde of kunai and jutsu upon the man, Tsunade raised her hand which gave them cause to stop.
When Tsunade was sure that her Ninja weren't going to attack Kosami, her voice fluttered around the room. "Yes I do Kosami! During this invasion, my village has lost out on countless missions which means that we are hurting financially. To pay us back for this, you will give us a monthly payment or if you wish you can pay us back in full though from the price that it is; I am sure that it will bankrupt your village!" Tsunade explained and while she was able to keep her voice calm, there was no mistaking the hint of danger that was laced within the words.
Before Kosami could respond to the words, Tsunade was continuing with her own. "Your signing of this treaty will be the only way that your village will continue on after this meeting. If you refuse to sign it then this is telling me that you are contemplating another invasion of my village and this is something that I will not allow!" Tsunade growled as she stood from her seat and as she glared at the man that stood across from her, another tirade of words followed. "We were allies before this war and as such, I would hate to be the one that slaughters and subjugates those within your village!"
From his position within the office, Naruto could see the many expressions that flowed across Kosami's face and while many of them were ones that hinted at a refusal of the treaty; Naruto watched as the older man eventually settled on one of defeat.
"Fine, fine. I agree! Though I still don't understand why you wish to keep my son as a political prisoner?" Kosami muttered out in a voice that echoed the defeat that was plastered upon his expression.
This was the first time that Naruto had heard of Tsunade forcing the Grass to leave one of their citizens as a political prisoner though considering the events that had transpired through the invasion; it made sense for the Hokage to have incentive to keep Kosami following the treaty.
"While I have no true desire to keep your son as a prisoner, we have to ensure that you follow the treaty and as long as you do so; three years from now, your son will be returned unharmed." Tsunade explained to the defeated male before her.
Knowing that there was no sense in arguing any further, Kosami signed his name upon the treaty that Tsunade placed before him.
