I was on my way to music with Niall when I got Nat’s text.
Nat: Hey!!
I replied immediately
Me: Hey! U ok?
Nat: yeah :) Harry's taking me somewhere... So can you cover for me in music?
Me: Oh he is? Yeah sure. Have fun you two ;)
Natalie: Haha thanks xx
I slid my phone into my back pocket and walked down the hall with Niall. He kept looking over at me and smiling.
“What?” I asked.
“It’s just good to be back.” He said smiling. I rolled my eyes and gently shoved him.
“You could have come back sooner you know?”
“I do. I don’t know why I didn’t.” he said looking a bit sad. I stopped him, and looked him in the eye.
“Niall, I don’t hate you. I never did. I just wanted to. You left me. I was crushed. So instead of acting as hurt as I was, I put on the ‘I don’t care’ attitude. But I did care. You know that right?” I said, being entirely truthful. Niall didn’t say anything, just looked at me. Then he did the last thing I thought he would.
