Nobody Else

Changkyun checked his briefcase once again to make sure he had everything he needed with him, checked his watch and left for work. It was his first day at the new workplace and he didn't want to be late.

He was a bit nervous when he stepped in the subway with many other people and checked the time again. It was 7:34 so he wasn't in a hurry. The doors closed and Changkyun saw his own reflection from the window: a 24 years old man with black hair and neat black suit. He couldn't help but to fix his hair a bit before turning his head away.

After ten minutes the subway arrived to his station. It was starting to get really crowded and he tried to get through but had to just wait for the crowd to move out. He hurried his steps when he checked his clock again after getting to the streets. It took him longer than he had thought to get to his workplace because of the amount of people.

It was nearly eight when Changkyun got on the elevator and pressed number seven where the office was at, when he suddenly heard running steps from the hall and a scream: "Wait for me!" He quickly pressed  the button to open the doors that were already closing and saw a blonde guy running towards.

"Thanks!" the man said panting as he leaned his back against the elevator wall. He was wearing a black suit and carried a briefcase too Changkyun noticed. "I've been a bit late lately and if I missed this elevator I would have been late again." the blonde confessed and was going to press the button to his floor.

"Wait, are you the new guy of our team as you are going to the seventh floor as well?" he asked astonished, "I'm Minhyuk. Lee Minhyuk."

Changkyun was a bit shocked of the others talkative nature but shook his hand and introduced himself. "Im Changkyun. I guess we are workmates then." 

"Yes! Nice to meet you and welcome to our team!" Minhyuk said smiling brightly and seemed to have gained more energy from their conversation. 

The elevator stopped and Minhyuk led their way inside the office. He wished good morning to all with a wave of his hand and sat on his chair. Changkyun was a bit nervous as everyone turned to look at him after Minhyuk's greeting. 

"Hello, I'm Im Changkyun, the new employee of your team." he saluted everyone.

"Ah, I had almost forgot that you were starting today," said a man sitting on a desk behind the others and everyone focused on their own work again, "but you came just in time. We have been so busy since Hyunwoo had that accident and had to take sick leave. Hyungwon!" One employee who had quite long and wavy black hair lifted his head up and turned to look at the team leader. "Could you show Changkyun his desk and help him get started." That wasn't a question but a command so Hyungwon got up.

"This way." he sighed waving his hand lazily. Hyungwon led Changkyun to an empty desk opposite of his own and beside Minhyuk's worktable. The blonde was discussing with a brown haired guy on his other side. They sounded almost like they were arguing but Hyungwon didn't mind them and just started to teach Changkyun.

"Ahhh, should we go out for a lunch?" Minhyuk asked stretching his arms.

"Yeah, I'm starving." a red haired man beside Hyungwon stated and all four of them got ready to leave.

"Aren't you coming?" Minhyuk turned to look at Changkyun who was still fully concentrated on his work.

"You can go. I still need to finish this document." Changkyun said without lifting his eyes from the screen. 

"Hey, it's not good to overwork yourself on the first day already. That document can wait." Minhyuk assured joining his friends. Finally Changkyun turned to look at the others, everyone else was standing at the corridor already, just waiting for him. The elevator arrived and they stepped inside glancing at Changkyun who quickly got up, grabbed his suit jacket and rushed after them just in time to get in. The blonde smirked at him and wrapped his arm around the younger's shoulders. "Good choice, Kyunnie."
