After talking to Stefan for hours....

"Ok mom i will marry Caroline but i am only doing this for you and Miss Forbes. You understand. But I will never ever love her. "

He was so angry, he just left the house after discussion.

" Mom this is unfair. Stefan still loves Elena and he is waiting for her. He only said that to Lexi. You knew that right. "

" I know, but Caroline honey. Elena is with Damon. And he is single. And no one will be better match for you than him. "

When I just turn back to her, she was already collapsed on the floor.

"How is she? " I asked to doctor.

"She is stable now, but she is taking too much stress. And it is affecting her treatment. Don't give her too much stress. She only has few months left. "

"What, no no no......this can't happened. How many months? I don't want to loose her......"

"Hey listen Caroline, we already done a lot from our side. Your mother's tumors are growing."

"But how many months she have? "

"I don't know"

" No you don't think this is....... I said while wiping my tears I couldn't finish sentence thank you doctor , can i take her home? "

"Yes, but now she needs to rest, you can take her in the morning"

Mom was sleeping so. I left the room. Elena and Bonnie were with me when I took mom to the hospital.

"How is liz? " Bonnie asked

"Yeah she is fine now. She needs to rest. We will take her home tomorrow. "

"Ohh that's good news. Caroline we brought you sandwich and coffee. You haven't eaten anything since morning. "

Lily came in hospital. She was devastated by news.

C - No not yet. But we are taking her home tomorrow morning. Then we will get a chance to meet her.

L - Ohh I see. Can I talk to you?

C - Yes, please.

Then I went outside with Lily. I knew she wanted to talk about wedding. But I don't know what to say about that yet.

L - Caroline look I convinced Stefan to marry you. I know Liz has taken stress about that.

C - But.......

L - No don't say anything. You are nice girl. I like you. I want you to be my daughter in law. I will never get perfect girl like you for my son.

C - Lily, but Stefan, how he got convinced.

I know he will never get convinced for this I am sure that Lily has done something to convinced him. I can't force him to marry me. He doesn't love me it will affect our friendship. Now we were started to become best friend but I think because of this Stefan will hate me. I don't know what to do. Mom is not listening anything. If I deny her wish I don't know what will happen to her. I can't loose her I don't have anyone besides her.

L - Listen, don't think to much about this. After liz wakes up soon we are planning wedding. I know she will be happy to hear this. And I am also excited to see you as bride.

C - Lily, I want to tell you something.

L - yes tell me

C - My mom has only few months left

L - what????

C - yeah I just talked to doctor. Doctor said they don't know and they can't tell how many months she has.

I don't know but now I couldn't stop my tears from falling. I started crying. Lily hugged me. And Caress my back and whispered " don't cry honey, everything will be fine. " I knew it will never be fine. I am going to loose my mother. I am going to be alone in this world. My mom said that day now you are ready to be in this world alone. But no I am not ready yet.

As we were hugging Stefan came.
