Mew Suppasit strutted down the airport runway with a smile on his face and a pep in his step. The jet had been delayed by air traffic control for half an hour and he had just landed at his destination to a text message from Grandmother saying that Papa and Gulf had been getting along swimmingly at the dinner. Thoughts of his mate and papa enjoying time together had him filled with joy. Now he just needed to work on his mae.

The woman was a difficult creature, content to let others raise Jom and himself, and had always been more interested in idle gossip with her club of socialites. She had always treated him with cool disregard until he had claimed Zan as his future mate. After that incident, she had paid more attention to him, always praising him for being the one to bring their houses together in unity, as a good friend should do. He was ashamed to admit that he had let the ruse go on too long. He had never intended to marry the omega, but the attention he craved from his mother encouraged his shameful behavior.

Mew all but skipped towards the private entrance where a car awaited him. As he stopped before the vehicle, he inhaled deeply, enjoying the fresh air. Something about the night always called to him and he tilted his face to the sky and closed his eyes. Taking a moment to himself to smell the crisp, cool air that quickly turned into that of smog and fuel, the scent of a large city. He opened his eyes and moved on, rushing towards the car that was parked slightly off to the side and a professionally dressed driver that was standing at attention at the back door.

"Sorry for such short notice Melvin", Mew apologized with a small smile.

Melvin only nodded stoically, unwilling to provide any disappointment at the late intrusion of his schedule.

Melvin had always been like that when he visited the city on business. Few things could make the serious beta crack a smile.

The door to the luxurious car was held open and Mew slid into the comfortable leather seat, throwing his carry-on bag to the other side. The quicker he dealt with this, the quicker he could return home to Gulf and the children. A smile lifted his lips at the thought of them.

"Master, where will be going?" Melvin asked.

"To the Starmont Hotel, I'll drop off my bags at the room and head straight to Mr. Zhou's office."

Melvin nodded in acknowledgement before the car took off at a smooth glide. He slid back in the seats and pulled out his phone, tapping away a text message to his mate.

"Has Master been well?" Melvin asked, tone dry and monotonous.

Mew beamed at the driver, "I've a mate and children now Melvin."

He was unaware of what Melvin's shocked face looked like, but he assumed it was whet he saw next. Melvin's eyes rounded slightly, and his gaze flitted to Mew in the rearview mirror before he smoothed his expression and his eyes drifted back to the road.

"And how did this come about, Master?" Melvin questioned; his bored tone belied his interest.

"His name is Gulf. I met him at a party and fell head over heels for him, Melvin. He's perfect!"

"Perfect?"

"Mmmm... he's so delicate yet strong. He wants to be taken care of but is afraid to ask for it" Mew sighed, smitten.

"He sounds interesting."

"He is the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my life" Mew carried on as if Melvin hadn't responded, "plus he gave me the most amazing children Melvin, four of them!"

"Four young ones? I can only imagine the havoc they will wreck" Melvin retorted with a small smile.

Mew laughed boisterously, "three sons and one daughter. Would you like to see pictures?"
