Sometimes i really hate moments that put life in perspective.
Sure it could useful and relaxing to zoom out and look at the big picture, but it just annoys me even more.
Well that's how looking through the window of this plane and seeing the world from 30,000 feet in the air is making me feel.
My problems are all on the ground, but from my window they aren't even a small speck , just completely and utterly invisible.
Talk about frustrating.
Instead of complaining about the significance of my problems in relation to grand scheme of things (because let's be real it's 10 am ,and way too early for philosophical evaluations of my life) i think for the millionth time about what is awaiting me in the infamous Medrania.
I know almost as little as you do.
The country's minimal use of technology has meant it's inner workings aren't exactly broadcasted on national TV.
That's not to say we aren't aware of the of Medrania's success.
Everyone's certainly aware of that.
At just 1/50th of the size of the united states,Medrania rivals America in economic power.
It's not just a financial powerhouse, it's successful in every way.
The country's efficient use of minimal energy and renewable resources means the air has the lowest levels of pollution recorded in the last 100 years our of every other country.
Citizens live on organic produce and fresh goods due to the country's ban on fertilisers and artificial food.
Consequently, Medrania has one of the highest average life expectancies in the whole world.
Well, you get the idea, the kingdom is hot stuff.
Almost impossible for us outsiders to get into because they rarely hand out Visas.
So my going to Medrania is a pretty big deal.
After winning their independence from the US in 1950, the former state of Medrania became a kingdom.
Medrania fought to preserve tradition and protect the American dream. They opposed the modernisation of society and preferred the simple way of doing things.
So life there is a little outdated.
In fact, unless you're a millionaire who has heavily invested in the country, you can kiss your dreams to vacation there goodbye.
But , thanks to the princess, Alana , I'm here for the next 6 months.
I check the time on the display tv screen in front of my seat.
I should be arriving in Dolnis, the capital city of Medrania in 45 minutes.
Words can't describe how excited i am to land, but it's not everyday a girl travels in such luxury.
No airlines fly to Medrania because not enough people can go there, so i was to arrive in a private jet, courtesy of the royal family of course.
Alana had sent me nothing less than the very own plane of use to the royal family right down to the crew.
She's also a genius and a respected philanthropist at just 19 years old.
Princess Alana has been rumoured to be kind and generous and one of the few members of the royal family who didn't look down on outsiders.
Growing restless, i press the button on my the arm of my chair to call a cabin crew me ever over.
A dashing man who appears to be in his 30s walks over to me wearing a smile so perfect it looked plastic.
