Jenny laid in the hotel's queen sized bed, sleeping at ease in the darkness of the room as the sound of the running fan rang out and echoed through the small room. She hugged onto her pillow as she slept, comforted by its presence. Her wavy orange hair spread out across the contrasting white pillows with her body fully submerged in the burgundy blankets with her unfinished essay sitting on the nightstand next to her.
Suddenly, the door opened up letting a bright, blinding light enter the room as a figure stood in the doorway, quickly entering into the room and next to Jennys bed.
"Jenny...! Jenny!" The voice shouted with a whisper as they shook at Jennys back and arm, trying to wake the red head up from her slumber frantically as their hands trembled against Jennys freckled covered skin.
Jenny felt the pushes and began to sit up with a groan of confusion, rubbing at her head and looking to her side.
"Mmm...Yeah?-"
Her reaction of tiredness and drowsiness took a dramatic turn as she saw Sophie stand over her bed with trembling hands still touching at Jennys arm. She looked as if she had seen a ghost or a horrible crime, with her face lacking any color even in the darkness as Jenny stared up at her lover.
"Sophie...?" Jenny asks, looking down at Sophies arm as Sophie quickly retreats back her hands within a snap, turning on the lamp on the nightstand to reveal both color and light into the room.
"Jenny, w-we have to leave." Sophie stammered as she stared down into Jennys green eyes.
Before Jenny could respond, Sophie turned around and walked towards her bed and fetched out her blue with white striped duffle bag she got with her letterman jacket and began opening up drawers and throwing clothes inside frantically.
"Uh, Sophie? What are you doing?" Jenny questioned with confusion as worry began to seep in. Sophie has never acted like this around her.
She took the sheets off of her and rolled out of bed, wearing black shorts with a green tank top as she began to walk over to the silent, but frantic Sophie.
Sophie didn't respond, breathing heavily as she squinted her eyes clothes and continued dumping items into her bag.
"Sophie?" Jenny repeated, going to Sophies side as Sophie took her polaroid from the nightstand along with pocketing a few photos she took of random objects, locations, and of her and Jenny only for it to reveal her pill bottle.
Sophie stared at it with devastation and fear, she felt as if her world was spinning just staring at the bottle. She felt as if the effects of the pills were kicking in, even though she hasn't taken them in at least three days. Panicking, she picked up the pills and quickly shoved them into a drawer, away from her sight.
"Sophie!-" Jenny exclaimed, putting her hands on Sophies shoulders and forcing her to turn to meet face-to-face with Jenny who only looked at Sophie with a worried frown as she stared into her hazel eyes.
Sophie only stared back at Jenny, still breathing heavily from the running up the stairs towards their room along with her panicking. Jenny began to gently rub Sophies shoulders.
"Is everything okay? What happened?" Jenny questioned.
Suddenly, Sophie wrapped her arms around Jennys waist and pulled her into a tight hug, beginning to shake her head to herself.
"...No." Sophie stated.
"Shit, uh...Alright. Tell me what happened, I want to help." Jenny responded.
