Over the next month, Izuku watched as Katsuki slowly became bedridden. He was so sick, in-fact, that he could barely eat a bite of his favorite food, no matter how good it tasted. It pained Izuku to see it so much that he stopped sleeping and just stared at Katsuki, watching him rest peacefully and cough from time to time.

Day by day would Izuku hear Katsuki violently cough. He'd wince at each one. Although Izuku could obviously hear the deadly croaks in Katsuki's voice, the blonde still smiled and kept up his happy facade.

"Hey cheese-lover!" Katsuki exclaimed to his lover.

Izuku kept frowning, his eyes were going dull and his heart still sunk.

"Awe, don't be sad. I'm still super strong." Katsuki grinned as he flexed his slim arms as hard as possible, only managing to make his bone a little less visible.

Izuku gave a warm smile in return and let out a strained chuckle, "Oh, I see now. How strong."

Katsuki attempted to laugh with him but all that emerged from his chapped lips were a deadly cough that kept him silenced.

Izuku attempted to get up and help him only to be stopped by Katsuki putting out his hand.

"Don't come to me. I'm fine." The hero choked, trying to quiet down his coughing and succeeding.

Izuku settled back down in his seat and wiped the dark circles under his eyes.

"You should take a nap." Katsuki croaked.

"If I sleep, you'll take that chance to slip away from me." Izuku yawned.

"You know me so well." Katsuki sighed as he leaned back in the pillows.

There it was, that piercing silence. This made it all the worse. The quietness in the room made both men queasy. They needed release.

"You know what, I'm really tired of this room. The walls are so dull. Can we go visit that little forest you took me off to that one day?" Katsuki requested.

This surprised Izuku, he didn't realize that Katsuki remembered such a place. Even so, he nodded and went over to pick the male up on his back.

"Hold on, try not to fall off" Izuku warned before opening the door quietly and walking out of the room.

Izuku crept down the halls and through the main room to the exit. When they made it out, they were greeted with the sky's beautiful sunset.

"It might rain today so we need to hurry up. If you get a cold, you could end up getting so much worse." Izuku explained as he walked across the side walks.

All Katsuki did was rest his head on Izuku's back and enjoy the wonderful ride.

As quick as they left, they arrived at the spot. It was covered in roses with a nice view of the sun with a pretty gazebo that looked recently built.

Izuku let Katsuki down before he sat down himself.

"Oh this is so nice. I love roses.." Katsuki smiled happily as he flopped down on his back.

Katsuki sighed in happiness as he watched the sky begin to go black with star spotted across it.

"Remember what we talked about here? How I'd have a birthday party based off of you first?" Izuku reminisced.

Katsuki nodded, "In the end, we never really went through with it."

Izuku grinned before flopping down on his back like Katsuki.

Silence blanketed the two and Izuku just enjoyed the scenery

Rain began to sprinkle from the sky and onto the two.
