Prologue
"Caleb!" Five year old Lyndon ran down the hall of the brick school to her best friend.
"Lyndon!" Seven year old Caleb ran down to meet her. Both of their moms worked in the same school so when ever they had to stay late Caleb and Lyndon would always find each other.
They skipped down the hall all the way to the playground.
"Why weren't you here yesterday?" Caleb questioned Lyndon.
"I was at the park with one of the boys in my class and his mommy who was watching me."
Caleb was a very possessive little boy. He hated it if someone took anything of his away from him. And in Caleb's eyes Lyndon was his and only his.
"Your not allowed to have any other boy friends." Caleb stomped his sneaker clad foot. He hated it when Lyndon was sad but he was upset.
"But Caleb!" Lyndon pouted. "Tommy is the nicest little five year old in my class!"
"Don't be upset Lyndon. You can have girl friends but your not allowed to be friends with any boys." Caleb grabbed her hand.
Two Days Later
"That's my dolly!" Lyndon's eyes brimmed with tears. "Tommy give it back!"
Tommy was upset and took Lyndon's doll because she told him that they can't be friends anymore. Unluckily for him Caleb was around. That meant that Tommy was about to get a beating from the much bigger Caleb.
Blocks were in Calebs hands and promptly after they pelted Tommy.
Caleb dragged her out of the room.
"Your mean!" And Lyndon ran away. Those words dented Caleb's heart. The emotion he was feeling, was sadness.
