It was after dark. The thunderstorm was loud. You see the Shogun in the distance with Thoma. Within a blink of an eye you see his vision fly in the sky with shocks of electro all around it,. Without even planning you used your newly gained electro powers to get to the vision in the dark sky. You had gotten the vision but the Shogun was full of rage. She used her electro powers to walk down to you with grace yet you could feel the rage she carried with her as she walked down to you. She went on about you being an acceptation, "The enemy of eternity." You got scared while hearing her talk. You could hear her raging emotions while she talked to you. You noticed Paimon's small body shaking due to the Shogun. Though you were shaking too you just gripped tightly to your sword getting ready for the hardest battle of your life.
Your heart was beating faster faster as she got closer and closer. Out of no where you two were neck and neck. "I'm doomed. I'm dead. I'm a goner. Run." your thoughts screamed at you. It seemed your legs wouldn't move. Shaking you try to move but before you could get control of your own body she was able to teleport you to a different realm. It was red. An Arena. ".. I'm a goner.." you mumbled while looking around this new place. It was Beautiful yet full of sorrow. The Shogun with that straight, gloomy face of hers stared at you. Out of no where she started to attack you. "How. No. This can't be real. Right?" You thought while in pain from her hits. You felt dizzy, just from one hit. Then you remember her, Xiangling. That Chef with the purest heart in all of Liyue had given you some food for your journey. A few apple, some soup, lots of fish, a few sweet madams and.. amazing, she packed you food to boost your damage and defense. You were able to eat some food, fish to be exact. You quickly ate the food that would boost your damage and defense.
You started to attack. Even with the food you have just ate you were still no match. She was barely effected by your hits. The again she was an archon after all. What could you, a traveler do to a power archon like her? Nothing. After running out of food you were able to effect her. It was the smallest scratch sadly. But now your food was gone you were almost dead and you barely laid a finger on her. "Wow. Everyone called me strong, they were wrong.. I am no match for the higher-ups." You thought. Just then you realize she turned off your elemental power. How could this be? You're almost dead, weak, out of breath, and you had no effective way to fight anymore. You slowly gave up. You started to accept the fact you were no match. "Everyone counting on me will be let down." You mumble to the Shogun. You start to think about all the friends you have made along the way and how they would if you died. You hated the feeling of them caring about you. You did love how they loved you but you hated the fact that they would be hurt if you died but come on, you're going to die at this rate anyway. Look at you, you're covered in blood, weak, barely standing, how could you survive. You started to think about your sibling and Paimon. The people who treated you the best and didn't just use you to do their dirty work.
After thinking about them you just start to cry right in front of the Shogun. You could feel 0 emotion coming from the Shogun. Without thinking you mumbled as you sobbed away, "I'll see all of you again" You flew threw the sky with tears falling off your face. You attacked the Shogun and she attacked back. You both stunned each other though you know you lost, you felt a pain in your chest after all. You start to hear Paimon's sobs and feel her attempts to wake you up but, you knew you are gonna die tonight. You feel Thoma grab you and leap over the gap between the city and we're you two were with Paimon floating next to you. You were slowly dying in his arms while he attempts to wake you up with his and Paimon's tears falling down onto your clothes. Though you weren't sad. You were going to die in Thoma's arms. He was a very kind man you shared many fond memories with for and your best friend, Paimon.
