January 1st 2022 The Apartment 10:45
The two were still fast asleep in bed and anything past 7:30 was late for Damian waking up, but they had a good reason, their siblings and Cassie dragged them out for a New Years Party. They were also sleeping soundly until their bedroom door was opened and Alfred the cat ran in and jumped on top of Damian.
"Who opened the door?" Damian asked still asleep
"Sorry" Helena replied
"What do you want" Damian question sitting up
"I was just wondering where you keep the coffee, Lara, Cassie and I all need some" Helena said
"I'll get it" Damian said
"Wait" Helena exclaimed
"What now" Damian stated
"You are only not wearing a shirt or should I leave before you get up" Helena asked
"Shut up" Damian said getting up
He walked past her taking Alfred and closing the door so Jon could continue sleeping.
"You could just tell me" Helena stated
"Or I could show you, and then show you how to use the kitchen properly so you don't break anything" Damian replied
"Your cranky, this morning" Cassie stated tiredly from the couch
"It's cold how are you shirtless" Lara asked
"Why are you in mine and Kent's home, I don't remember inviting you" Damian responded
"You did, I don't think you knew you were doing it however" Cassie said
"Remind me to never, invite you three over again" Damian said
"Four" Helena replied
"Four?" Damian questioned
"Yeah Zack, he's in the toilet" Lara replied
Damian just placed Alfred on the ground and walked off to the kitchen. Helena followed him and she watched as he ordered and he made the coffee for them before going back to his room and back into bed.
"Why'd you get up?" Jon asked snuggling up to him
"Do you remember inviting them to stay the night" Damian replied
"No, I remember you asking them" Jon stated
"So I'm the only one who can't remember " Damian said turning to face him
"Seems so, now stop fidgeting and let me cuddle you" Jon exclaimed
"When did you get bossy?" Damian asked
"When I started living with you, now shush cuddles in quiet" Jon said resting his head on Damian
"Only for a few minutes I don't trust those four alone" Damian replied
"Shh" Jon hushed
They lay there for another twenty minutes before Damian started to move, which made Jon let go of him and they both got up and Damian put in his dressing gown to cover up and Jon left for the bathroom. Damian walked out to the living room where the four were watching TV.
"Why did you leave us?" Zack asked
"He had more important obligations" Lara replied
"Like what?" Cassie asked
"Cuddles" Lara mocked
"Don't mock your brother or else" Damian warned
"And don't be listening" Jon exclaimed coming up behind Damian
"You might hear something you don't want to hear" Helena stated
"Why did you invite them to stay again?" Jon asked walking to the kitchen
"Ouch that hurt boy of steel" Cassie exclaimed
"So when will you guys be leaving?" Damian asked
"Do you really want us gone" Helena questioned
"No I want my home to look clean" Damian said looking at the mess
"He really does like things to be clean" Jon stated from the other room
"Well we can make the place look a bit tidier" Helena suggested
"Yeah and Dami can make breakfast, he makes the best pancakes" Jon said
"I find it funny how it never your turn to make breakfast" Damian stated
"That is funny, now get to making I am hungry" Jon said kissing him
"Fine, your on tomorrow or you don't eat" Damian said
"Now let's get this place clean before he's done" Jon stated
The group went and cleaned up the living room before Damian summoned them all for breakfast. They were all sitting around the table eating when they felt a slight tremor.
"Are we safe up here?" Helena asked
"Of course we are" Damian replied standing up
"Where's he going" Zack asked
"I dunno" Jon stated as he continued eating
"Are you not worried at all" Cassie questioned
"He's half kryptonian and he has food in front of him, he won't move" Lara stated.
There was another tremor this time it was longer and worse then the first one, Damian just called from the other room and they all came running and looked out where he was looking, a giant hole had been ripped into the sky.
"Suit up?" Cassie questioned
"Suit up" Damian and Helena confirmed
They all suited up and then we're standing in the living room
"Race down the stairs?" Lara asked
"Or this" Damian said pressing a button
The large window opened and he dove out the window with Jon free falling after him, the rest followed suit. Damian and Helena glided towards the origin, Jon, Cassie and Lara flew through the streets evacuating the civilians and Zack used his magic to try close the breach but it wasn't working.
"Great" Damian sighed
"What is it?" Lara asked
"It's a giant cannon" Helena replied
The others joined the two siblings staring at the cannon
"You've gained weight Mother, I can hear you sneaking up on us" Damian stated turning around
"Why you insolent brat" Talia said raising her arm
"Don't touch him" Jon warned flying in front of Damian
"What do you think of our new weapon" Talia smirked
"It's just you the rest are incarcerated" Helena stated
"Not what I meant, this is a gateway to the multiverse I can build a new league. A league shaped in my image" Talia exclaimed
"We need to close that thing, no offence Damian but your Mother is the worst" Cassie said
"I know and you don't know the half of it" Damian said
"Close it" Cassie said
"No" Talia smirked
"You guys close it, I'll take care of my Mother" Damian said charging her
As Damian and his Mother began fighting members of the Justice League turned up and they headed to help the young heroes turn off the machine and close the rift that opened before anything came through.
