Chapter 1
Jane North the Unextrodinary girl
Jane stood in the busy street outside her school waiting, people left, cars came and went, most walked joyfully away from school.
It was a Thursday, the Thursday before summer break and the school decided to take some classes on a trip to the beach for the weekend. The rest were just going to get easy lessons mainly watching movies or playing games on computers tomorrow.
Jane was going on this trip hopefully with her best friend Vicky who she hadn't had lessons with that day and was waiting to hear if she was going too.
Almost 15 minutes after the end bell and almost everyone had left, Jane heard a familiar voice,
"Jaaaaane.....JAAAAAANE" she turned to see Vicky shouting and sprinting up the street.
"*pant pant* s..sorry Jane I *pant* thought we were meeting at the *pant* shop up the street sorry *pant*" said Vicky very out of breath
Jane sighed and said "It's alright gold fish" goldfish is what Jane called Vicky as she was very forgetful.
"So?" Jane continued
"So what?" Asked Vicky
"So are you aloud to go on the trip?" Jane replied
Vicky thought for a second and then answered.
"OH THE TRIP TOMORROW!"
"Yes the trip tomorrow" Jane sighed
"Yeah I'm going" replied Vicky happily.
Jane asked if Vicky would help her with her outfit; so they both went back to her house.
Jane didn't have many friends... Well none at all apart from Vicky but you couldn't find a closer pair they thought the same they liked the same sort of things, they both loved rock music and even their last names had something in common,
Vicky West and Jane North.
Vicky was a very outgoing talkative girl always with smile on her face there was no one who disliked Vicky as she was a very easy person to get along with. Vicky always seemed pretty laid back and was usually off in her own little world. She had a dog called Bessie and a little sister who looked almost like a smaller version of her with longer hair.
Vicky had short blond hair in a bob style cut. Her eyes were a pale blue colour, which from a distance looked almost white.
She had a great fashion sense so she always helped Jane with what to wear.
Vicky had quite a small stature but not fit for her huge personality. She was just a few inches below average height for a 14 year old; but Jane still made a joke or two about it from time to time, but only because Vicky did the same.
You almost never saw Vicky or Jane without a pencil in hand and a sheet of paper in the other scribbling away at drawings or stories, mostly in lessons they disliked.
Although Jane actually payed attention in lessons and actually did the work so she and Vicky were in different classes. It's not that Vicky wasn't clever because she really was, she just preferred drawing and she was very talented at it.
Jane North, on the other hand was quiet and very shy, she never liked being in big groups of people or even more than 2. Jane much preferred being on her own with a book, a drawing pad or some music.
Jane was very, very tall for her age and wasn't even 15 yet she just turned 14 in February.
She had very dark green eyes but sometimes looked paler in summer but they mostly looked black.
Jane had very long dark brown hair almost black which went down to her lower back, she had to straighten it for almost an hour for it to be straight because she had very curly hair.
But despite the fact that she seemed just like other girls her age, Jane always knew she was different...
