The two boys walked along the empty street of London. The taller boy, Wilbur, turned to talk to the shorter boy, George; but George never turned his head to look at Wilbur, his gaze stayed straight ahead, focused only on the city before them.
"I never knew the city looked this beautiful at night" George told Wilbur.
Wilbur smiled at this comment.
The way George looked at the city was a look Wilbur had never seen from George before.
It was a look he had probably never seen from anyone before.
"We should keep walking" Wilbur said .
This time George averted his gaze to look at Wilbur.
The look George was giving was Wilbur's favourite.
It's the way George looked at Wilbur.
A look reserved only for him.
"We're almost there" Wilbur added after a moment.
The two boys began walking again.
George took a deep breathe, looking around, astonished by the bright city lights.
George was acting like he had never seen a city before.
Not that Wilbur was complaining about the way George was.
George looked at every little thing like it was something new and exciting.
Wilbur absolutely adored this about George.
Wilbur had then in that moment decided tonight was the night,,
The night where Wilbur would open himself up to George. Confess his feelings for the younger boy.
Wilbur's feelings went beyond regular feelings.
Beyond just George's attractiveness.
It was George's slightly off accent,
It was the way George would flood Wilbur's mind and make him forget everything else,
It was the way George was afraid to compliment Wilbur because he was afraid he'd say the wrong thing,
And Wilbur's favourite thing:
The way George had a different look for everything.
Especially the look George had for Wilbur.
When George looked at Wilbur it made him feel like he was the only person in the world.
George could be looking at anything else, but in that moment he would be choosing to look at Wilbur.
As small as that seems, it means the world to Wilbur.
The two boys soon arrived to their destination:
An empty playground.
Wilbur knew George would love the playground at night.
Especially surrounded by the city lights.
George went straight for the swings.
Wilbur had seen this coming, and followed George.
"So this is the important place you just had to take me to" George asked in playful tone
George could tell Wilbur had something on his mind.
Wilbur looked up and George and flashed him a quick smile.
George smiled back at Wilbur, who was now slowly swinging.
George may have thought Wilbur was feeling down,
But when he smiled back at Wilbur, any negative feelings that may have been, disappeared.
Wilbur wasn't feeling bad, no,
He felt everlasting happiness just being there with George, and he felt George needed to know that.
"Wilbur?"
Wilbur looked up at the mention of his name.
George had worry in his eyes.
"What's wrong?"
Wilbur couldn't lie; He had never been able to.
Even at a moment like this,
The truth had to come.
"George I need to tell you something"
"What is it, Wil?"
Not wanting to drag it out, he let the truth free.
"I love you, George."
"Wilbur I- I love you too,, Sorry I just hadn't expected this to come quickly"
George quickly added a nervous laugh.
Wilbur reached for George's hand. George willingly took it and interlocked their fingers.
They sat in a comforting silence,
Swinging next to one another,
Hand in one anothers,
Only to wonder what the future had to bring for the two of them.

I know this story sucks but again, it was only for writing practice.
I ended up changing the ending because I didn't like the original very much.
Even this ending itself sucks but I honestly don't know how to fix it.
I'm writing some other books at the moment. You can always check my bio to see my current works.
If you have any story requests you can dm them to me.
